If that's the case, use a hex editor, load the save.dat from your broken save slot. Search for "FP", 36 squares after that you'll find the hex string value "38", change that to "20", save and everything should be back to normal.

You did notice Kanhef's discovery? (30 instead of 38)
It may be useful to you when testing stuff in-game.
 
used elevator in vault 23 [north of military base] at level 3 and it ports me to inside the wall at the ground level.

think i`m supposed to go to kill a rat boss.

any tips on how to either fix it or cheat/port to the boss level ?

I think that here was some solution (you need to change some values or something like that), but I didn't work in my case...
 
I have found the rock pile in Klamath but cant find any dynamite to blow it up, hwere the hell do i get it from?

theres one in klamath somewhere,cant remember where,i found it searching for goodies
 
Hi! I just started playing this mod, and I never got the mission to find Vic. Now I am at the den, but I cant ask metzger to buy Vic. I want my little fatso, what do I do? :(

was there ever a fix for the leaving the siege area CTD ?

where is the megamod read me file ?

is the megomod finished with ?


also am i blind ,is there a thread for the 2.34 version ?

1. No fix for the siege yet... at least not on my part. I have been focusing on Vault 23. It may be as simple as removing some of the critters on the map. I'll get to it.

2. Infering from #1 above, and what I just said in the other thread, my Megamod is not finished. I still work on it when my limited time permits.

3. There is no 2.34 thread.
 
I just downloaded the megamod patch, and in the temple of trials, Cameron got an error dialogue and error as name, when I got out of the temple of trials, I encounter annoying looping with the elder, which thankfully i can bypass, and then a guy (in front of the big head statue) also got error as a name and in dialogue option.

help any1 ?
 
@Zetsuei: It is infrequent, but that error has been reported a few times. Just a bad install. Reinstall again, being sure to follow the tips in the readme.

theres a downside to playing F2 again,i dont think i`m gonna be so thrilled at the change from iso to FPS with fallout 3.

i`m back to thinking theres no way they could replicate the immersion or sheer bliss of the real fallout games.
not to mention the gameplay time,fallout games took weeks,even for the best of gamers.
an FPS is always over before your ass has even had a chance to form 1 haemoroid.
a real fallout game left your rear entrance looking like it had a bunch of grapes hanging off it :shock:

AND - Not to mention a stupid thing like lvl 20 cap on FO3 :-(
 
Yeah, many people will prefer playing Megamod/RP instead of Fallout 3. I don't know what will I prefer, I'll see how much RPG elements are in Fallout 3 - if it's something like Oblivion it could be worth playing...Anyway, I can't wait to see the next release of the Megamod!
 
more weirdness

game crash at vault city courtyard entry
happens in all saves for some reason.

re installed game and mod,and still happens with all saves past and present.

which baffles me,how can all saves be corrupt ?

correction :
found a save in courtyard,it loads,but all others dont.

update :

fixed it myself.
took the VCTYCTYD.SAV file from the working save and dropped it in the non working save and now it doesnt crash.
