The quest is in the guide but not who to talk to specifically besides the motel owner. I thought it would be obvious since she mentions them by name. Anyway, one of the guys is in the room to the left om Mary and the other two are in the bar.

Either one of Nirran's add-ons fucked up the paint mod, or it just doesn't work as intended.

then it isnt working as intended,email me and i will email a script that works,sorry bout that(i wrote the paint mod)

edit : looked at the files from my different mods,the book mod has its own version of smitty merchant box,if that was installed after the mm patches,it would over-write the box script with one that doesnt have the paint,thats prolly what happened,i will correct it now,and in a min the mod will have the paint in it

edit : uploaded,both mr fixit stims and custom book mod alter merchant files,smitty box has been changed in both mods to have the paint(seeing how paint job is now a part of megamod,it needs to have the paint anyway,if you installed both,only need to download one of them),i appologize for the screwup

The black car with the blue led looking things is really cool!

Anyways, I got another problem, this time in Redding.

Doc Johnson and Mayor Ascorti do not talk to me at all.
When I click on them to initiate a normal conversation, nothing happens, not even a text bubble or anything in the pipboy, nada.
All the other NPC's talk to me normally, but these two don't.
Is this supposed to happen?
 
that is a bug that was fixed and will be next release,email me and i will send the scripts that fix that,if you want

Hi.
First, how i installed my current megamod :
[spoiler:79642f91ae]- Full install of Fallout2 (French)
- Patch Install
- Delete Data folder and patch0000
- Install Megamod version 2.42 from Nirran's website (today)
- Install F2_res patch 2.2b
- set all proto files to read only
- execute run first.bat then runme.bat (noticed some "unvalid numbers" lines while executing the second .bat)
- copied the Fallout2.exe from the patch to my Fallout2 folder (because i was getting the expecting error 'Fallout 2.exe V1.02 US')[/spoiler:79642f91ae]

During the game, i have these bugs :
- After speaking to Mynoc (sharpen lance) and looting the cooking pot, i speak to aunt Morlis but i only have one dialog choice not concerning the flint. So, this is impossible for me to obtain the flint unless by cheating (repeated bug on 2.40 and 2.42).

- When entering Toxic Cave Entrance, I gladly see that i have no way to exit back to worldmap : no exit area !
Even after setting the resolution to 1680*1050, i only see a vast ground area before the cave entrance (with some trees, in case you wanna know *sigh*). Ah, this repeated bug wasn't here on 2.40 megamod version.

Has someone got an idea ?

you must ask Slik where to find some flint before Aunt will trade

MIB88 fixed this i belive,email me i will fix a map for you,or just play with highres mod installed and map edges turned off in the f2_res.ini file

You're right, my problem came from f2_res patch. Without it i'm able to scroll further than before (although i can only scroll on exit area after having roughly maxed the down scroll...).
The problem is that i tried to change map options in f2_res.ini, but did'nt succeeded to see the exit area. So I think i will exit the toxic caves by disabling the f2_res patch :shock: (by the way, thanks a lot)

Thanks Nirran, but:

[spoiler:e0a06dd35b]I don't see a computer anywhere, either I am blind or its not on the copy I have.
All I see is a crazy guy in a hut with brahmin, lots of trees and the elevator doors and some rocks which aren't a natural formation.[/spoiler:e0a06dd35b]

Don't know if this is normal but I can walk through the mountains here :)
 
verified the bug with an installation i made specificaly to chase bugs,the elevator script is missing,ill make sure it is in the next release(i thought u ment the elevator inside :( )

would it work if I just put the elevator script in there and loaded up a save from before I went there?

I never had any problems before with getting Vic to use his repair skill on something, but he won't even try to repair the generator in the military base, east of San Francisco for me.
No matter what i try, my character keeps running straight for the generator and Vic won't even say a word that he's on it.

Is there any workaround for this?

I've tried to reload several times, and to regroup with him, changing the area also won't help.

Edit: It may be interesting to know, that Vic is still working as intended (repairing when forced to) in a different savegame, that i have made before i have visited bunker 15. The generator there was the last object that Vic wanted to repair.

murder is towns major. look in his bedroom and toilet for some time and than in console appears message about it

first time he will tell you about golgothe, you must dig grave (you dont get perk for digging right grave), second - about epa

any suggestions about how get married in Modoc? there are no such replics in dialogues anв I even can't have sex with Miria or Davin
and what a hell is going on: when i try to use superstims on somebody in console appears message about I used the exploit so i lose all my superstims :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:

Yea well, my repair skill is 14! I haven't raised it by a single point, cause i knew that Vic would be enough for most of the game.
I guess that i should have written that in my last post, but i totally forgot about that.

Well, the only way to fix it was to edit my savegame, to raise my repair skill and to lower it back down after the generator had been fixed.
