Which worldmap mod was that? Is that the one with buildings/ruins (which I didn't think was done yet)? Or is that the one in which the map was retextured to look more like Fallout 1? If it is the latter, I can't really use it now. Remember, the worldmap is almost four times as big as the original F2 map. Any retextured tiles would look really odd next to the new ones in the MM.
 
Next question - about Karl.
When I was first time in Den I spoke with Karl and saw with binoculars on him, but Modoc Joe sent me to find Karl again (after the letter from Ghost Farm). I went to the Den again, and spoke with Karl, and nothing happened.
What is wrong? Karl doesn't speak about ghost farm, just about his garden, then about GECK, and then he sleeps. May be in Megamod there is other solution to go through "ghost farm" quest?
 
I have not made any changes to Karl in a very long time, if at all. So, I know you have the latest version of that script. I have changed nothing regarding that mission or the Slags in the MM. And, I know it all works, because I am playtesting right now and just tested that very part yesterday. It is working fine. There was no need to go back to the Den to talk to Karl before completing the Slag mission unless you didn't choose the correct dialog options.
 
I've read information about f2se, and its ability to change game triggers (global and local variables), may be somebody can tell me what trigger I need to modify to tell Joe, that Karl is in Den?
 
Or, you could just actually "talk" to Karl. Don't buy him alcohol. Ask what his story is. If you want to use an editor, you can look inside the data/data folder and find the file called vault13.gam to see an abbreviation of what global variables control what.
 
Oh, big thanks! It seems I have very strange fallout, already started from the beginning (due to unplayable jinxed trait). May be it is because I changed my russian 2.03 fallout.exe file to US 1.02d...

2.03 is an unofficial patch? if so, you should remove it
 
I´ve got a problem with books...If I buy them or find them, there is no problem, but if a person should give me a book during conversation, the book (or books) never appear in my inventory...
examples - Information centre in Vault City, Dorothy after I saved Jack, or Berk in Collyweb...They all should give me some books but as I said, there are no books in my inventory...does anyone know where could be the problem?

Yes, there is a file that should not have been there... a file that was part of Nirran's book mod. You have a file called gl_books.int (or something like that) in your data/scripts folder/ Just delete it, and when you talk to those people you will get your books like normal.

I've just started playing Megamod 2.42 downloaded from nirran.com, and in Arroyo I cannot obtain flint from auntie. I've just talked to Mynoc, then go to auntie, and there is no dialogue option to ask about flint or that pot in exchange for it. Sad situation.
 
I did not say that she does not have it. I said that Mynoc did not tell you to see her. He told you to talk to someone else, not your auntie.
 
I just fried my highwayman's starter and wound up stranded somewhere in the desert between Modoc and Den :x wikiguide is not very helpful, MrFixit, Repair etc. doesnt work, NPCs like Smitty, Skeeter, Vic wont help me either and nobody seems to have a new one in stock so WHAT GIVES?!
