Citation from the website:
You and your loved ones are invited to survive the next earth devastating catastrophe, terrorist or nuclear attack. Vivos is the life assurance solution for your family, to survive for up to one year in an autonomous, hardened and nuclear blast proof, underground shelter. We invite you to join us and a community of 200 people, as a co-owner of the Vivos survival shelter complex closest to your home area from our planned network of 20 shelters. Where else would you go with just a few days' notice?
You cannot predict, but you can prepare for the immediate future and beyond.

Let's meet in Vault 13? :D

Survive up to one year? That's a ridiculously short amount.

Have fun emerging into a world that was annihilated by nuclear war one year ago.

Not to mention the tension that arises in a community of 200 strangers. Yeah, no, I'll build my own shelter buddy. But thanks!

If this was here in Brazil, and there was a real nuclear war danger for my country, I'd pretty much be into that. First that there is no way I can build my own shelter (I live in an apartment, and even if I didn't, homes in Brazil rarely have gardens or backyards). Second that rather in a shelter with 200 unknown people than in the streets or at home seeing the apocalypse with my own eyes (of course, if this "Vivos" is affordable for normal people who dont earn $10,000,000 a year)

why would one want to survive a global nuclear war in the first place ...

Would it not be better to be outside enjoying the show ? Its like firework. Just that its sponsored by god and the universe !

In case of most catastrophes (excluding nuclear war) one year should be enough.

From the video in my first post:
Spaces in the bunker are likely to be in a price range of 50 000$

So it's likely these bunkers are going to be full of dipshits that no one likes and would serve humanity better if they just died.

So, when 2012 doesn't happen, lets ride out there and cement the doors shut when they lock themselves inside.

In one year radiation levels would be down enough to let one survive.

There are 20k nuclear warheads in the world. Each destroys and poisons 10sq km (tops!!!), given the fact that most modern warheads are made to destroy and not to irradiate, the byproducts of the explosion would disintegrate within one year tops, and although radiation levels would be higher, i don't think total annihilation is to be expected.

That said, 20k x 10sq km = 200.000 sq km.
The earth has 510,072,000 sq km...

So everyone on NMA has a ticket?

Unless you're at ground zero, in a few weeks you'll see the largest threat disappear.
A year? That's pure luxury for nuclear fallout. Not needed at all, but nice to have surely.

That said, a year might not be much at all in case of a pandemic virus or an all out racially motivated civil war (not that I think it'll happen)...

I bet the facilities are just oldskool Cold War stuff bought by private investors, given a coat of paint and used to cash in on dumbfucks afraid of 2012...

If I have $50,000, I buy a little land for 10,000, I also buy a little shelter for 20,000-30,000 and I buy canned soup and such for another 10,000. And I have everything, it's mine and no one kicks me out of the place 1 year later. 8-)

If I had a spare $50,000 bill laying around I would buy one of these, not for 2012(Oooh, Astrology) but just for the purpose of having a vault.

the Vivos shelters look very similar to Radius defense shelters (the drawings are very similar). I think they are buying off the shelf shelter systems from a supplier which will make it easier for them to put these in place.

Vivos seems like a good idea for people who want to "survive" with the least amount of thought involved as possible.

I would not trust a corporate tool who is looking to cash in on the end of the world to actually deliver "quality of life" in a shelter that he personally is not going to be residing in.

I also have to admit that it is probably a safer bet than living in a hand dug hole with a few dozen Michigan Militia types.

A year is enough to survive the majority of the radiation. Hell a month is enough. But the longer the better.

Problem is you'd have to get yourself to such a shelter within 30 minutes, with damaged roads, clogged with people and fallen buildings. OH and did I mention that your car with tons of sensitive electronics doesn't work... along with everyone who was in their car at the time.

Just a thought.

That's what you get for not using a simple combustion engine with only mechanical moving parts!

Want your own vault?

I am currently listing to Coast to Coast AM. Robert Vicino is one of the creators of the Vivos Project. He is building bunkers for those who area willing to pay. Your vault will have supplies for one year, gym, clinic, school and a jail. Just for 50,000 per adult and 25,000 per kid a vault is yours for the end days.

actualy as soon you need a vault its over. The benefit of the apocalypse is that you die and are not responsible for it. Just get some popcorn and enjoy the show. Surviving apocalypse ... pfff
