Another week, another Wasteland 2 screenshot! Lizards, shadows and other scenery!

Thanks, this is much better quality than the one they posted on Facebook. I like this one, hopefully it's possible to get on those towers to get a good vantage point. I wonder what the deal is with the guy on the bottom left.

Looks tedious. Might as well be giant rats. One thing that's always bothered me about these games -- unrealistic wildlife.

If they were three times as big that would be one thing, but look at those things; in real life those things would be eating something the size of a rabbit, not attacking a group of full grown humans.

It bears repeating: the Wasteland setting was never concerned with realism, and had a pretty varied wildlife that included killer bunnies. I hope they have fun with the critters and come up with absurd, surreal ideas. Absurd, surreal ideas that try to eat my rangers.

Why is that "another" screenshot when it was covered already in the same article your last news thread was about?

Because this is a proper screenshot and not a scan from a magazine?

Like I said, I'd be alright with it if they were three times as big. I'm great with fantasy, I just always thought it was dumb behavior that a little rad scorpion in the early fallouts would be like chasing you down. Fuck now it wouldn't. Now the giant rads are a different story.

It's like that in tons of rpgs though, it seems. Like skyrim, you're a huge dude walking around in armor and a little mountain lion or whatever is going to attack you for no reason? Heck no it won't. Little guy's gonna go running.

It's just behavior that doesn't make any sense. Like, mole rats and spore plants are gonna team up against you, ok. They should be fighting each other more likely.
