I think it looks awesome

I really hope they are giving characters some kind of drawn picture not something 3D animated. Kinda how Diablo 3 did it. Or Baldurs Gate for that matter. That has a lot of charm.

Man, I've just discovered that I cannot seem to remember 'synths' from wl1. That's embarassing :) Where did I meet them in wl1, and which role did they play?

Newmen from the Vegas Sewers. Their presence was never explained.
 
Kinda reminds me of Blame!. Looks great, so far the concept arts were all pretty damn awesome.
