I prefer the EU because Disney's sequels really fuck up Luke Skywalker and shit on every accomplishment the previous characters have made in the original trilogy and many other things. Also rey is really a huge Mary sue, and Disney using star was as a political agenda piss me off. Mara Jade>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rey.

me too and its not because "lol superheroes are overdone" but moreso that they've just basically made iron man 20 times.

also i know i created this thread as a place for positivity, and don't get me wrong the netflix stuff is great (even iron fist is decent imo) but does anyone else feel that every netflix marvel season goes on like 3 or four episodes longer than it should?

because i feel like the pacing suffers from a lot of repetition in those shows.

Anyone got some good podcasts to recommend? Doesn't matter what type, I just like listening to them in the mornings and need something interesting.

I LOVE the Last Podcast on the Left. They talk about supernatural phenomena and serial killers and such and their banter is hilarious.
 
Speaking of super heroes I used to love the Spiderman 2 video game when I was a kid. I also love the first two Toby Maguire Spiderman movies and he is still my favorite Peter Parker. Listen to the Spiderman theme make me feel so nostalgic. I also liked the Spiderman one game as well.

My kinda gal.

One’ve the people on LP on the Left, Henry Zebrowski, plays the main character in Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell. I recommend that show if you want a supernatural comedy. Basically in it Hell is an office and Henry plays a demon that wants to escape and open a taco truck and other weird shit. I love it.

@Walpknut I misread that as Death Note, lol. Oh god, that Netflix movie was horrible and whoever created that should be promptly blacklisted from any and all film studios.

or if you're a horror snob check out the VVITCH. that's witch but with two v's. not just a good horror movie but a genuinely good film

or if you like ridicilously disgusting and offensive horror comedy check out the feast trilogy.

also Green Room with Patrick Stewert is a good slasher movie.

Also prisoners (2013) is an absolute gutwrenching mindfuck of a suspense movie. (not for violence but for human drama)

also! the Guest (2014) is a great thriller.
 
You had me at Robert Englund. Also, I’ve heard of most’ve those movies and I can def vouch for em.
 
Neo Yokio is hilarious if you don't have one of those conditions where you can't tell that a show about Caprece boys fighting demons is not serious like 80% of the internet was when the show first came out.

well STARZ has the better track record for faithful continuations with Ash vs evil dead. that show was so stupidly fun that it makes me want to punch a hole in the sun. too bad nobody watched it becuase its dead. they said they were gonna do a movie to finish it off but then bruce campbell was like "nah i think im done". what a shame.
