Mine:

- Great father
- Carpentry/DIY
- Good at computer troubleshooting


What about you?
 
- Town planning
- Sport (athletics, football, rugby)
- Conceptually bright
- Organic Chemistry

What are in your opinion "talents"?
 
- Workin' with kids
- Talking myself out of everything. I mean seriously, I can get away with anything.
- Accountancy (duh)
- History (somewhat - no pro, tho')
- I have yet to be beaten in Trivial Persuit

- Crafts, especially with small things (chain mail weaving for example)

Astrophotography is something I've always wanted to get into, but the telescope I want is around 2500-3000 USD, and the wife won't let me spend that much.

I am a student with no money and i use 20 yrs old equipment that belongs to the state. I have trouble finding 1000 bucks to buy a new camera... you can start simple, a smaller guided refractor and a webcam. You can get amazing results.
 
Really? Can a SLR be hooked up? I've got a Nikon D70.

Any recommendations would be great.

Of course, I doubt I'd spend much time with new spawn on the way.
