Yeah, that post was a joke dude. Kind of obvious.
You got anything else?

Owyn Lyons' character is written like really bad fan fiction. Moira Brown's character is written like really bad fan fiction.I hate yes man why did they even include him in the game his character is written like a really bad fan fiction.
Yes Man was fucking brilliant!
Depends on who says it, and to what degree they can qualify it. JUST saying it is basically that, lacking much of any substantive comments or criticisms, like name-calling in general. But it's not always untrue. I've said many times that I feel like FO3's writing felt very "fanfic-ish", and I did my best to explain why that was. The short version being it was a game modeled after another game, written by a different party, and completely lacking any of the sincerity, soul, or characteristics of its inspiration, writing about "it" in name only. Which is, for the most part, a word-for-word definition of the process of fan fiction, and why lots of people don't like it. If ALL one has to say is "sounds like fanfic", then okay, probably nothing worth considering. I still think there are exceptions, if perhaps few.Bad fanfiction? is that the new go to term when you have nothing of substance to say? I have seen that cropping up a lot recently.
I think it's more than appropriate, I think it's spot-fucking-on! There's just general trends that groups follow, and Bethesda is one of them that likes to create showy material, not very deep material. When they acquired the rights to the Fallout IP, they created a game that lacked ANY tie to the series, barring the name. That in itself would have been fine, of course. A good game made by a different group based on another game is perfectly fine. But, as many topics have discussed to great length, FO3 was none of that. If it had no ties to another, older series from a different group, then any criticisms could have been isolated to themselves, but with such comments as "poor writing" and "isn't [original]" and "a kid could do better" stacked on top of it being made be a different group who allege to be "paying homage" to the originals, you can see why such accusations of "it's fan fiction" sound more than appropriate. As I've said elsewhere, I just consider FO3 Fanon, in all senses of the word, no matter who owns the name.Owyn Lyons' character is written like really bad fan fiction. Moira Brown's character is written like really bad fan fiction.I hate yes man why did they even include him in the game his character is written like a really bad fan fiction.

I don't think that fan fiction is appropriate. Sadly, people that write movies (i have hard time called them writters) seems to like to have story of a guy helping the good altruistic old leader of a nation/faction/tribe/group and shag the old leader's daughter, and take the reigns following the demise of the old guy. It seems likely to happen after Fo3 and it seems that the vault 101 overseer feared that it would happen with his daughter.
I was already outdated and boring 60 years ago. Those people that write stuff don't seem to want to let it go.
