Well, there's actually not much choice:
-There are good mutants
-There are good ghouls
-There are good deathclaws
-Canadians as enemy could cause a war in the reality
-Robots are programmed by humans so they can't get evil by themselves.
-Humans are possible as enemy's, and actually robots can be enemy's after all when the're programmed by the bad guys.
But they were a better alternative to Vault City ... I would rather see VC raped for its medical research and then razed to the ground like the flaming *CENSORED* CENSORED* CENSORED* that it is ...Vault City : Where the snobs went after the war. Oh and I want an option in the game that allows you to impale First Puta Lynette...Vlad the Impaler style ....}>
Yeah, I didn't like Vault City either. I really prefered New Reno. Rampant sex and drugs. What else could a man want? Maybe they should let you raid Vault City and let you kill every last one of the @#$%ing citizens. Now THAT would be fun!

Oh yeah that's likely to happen. Did you forget that the only reason the enclave existed was to destroy the mutants (and all humans with mutated genes)?
How about yourself? I mean you could be involved in a horrific accident which leaves you scarred and amnesiac so your lackeys don't recognise you and you them. You end up fighting for the struggling good guys and bring a losing side to a stalemate with your old war machine. You could then find out near the end your true identity and then decide to be evil or good.
i think the mutants because if F3 makes them really hard they be hard. In F1 I had a hard time kill the master and I bet you had a hard time. In F2 now that was easy but if you didn't have help and didn't with the guns you would of lost so if Interplay does not make the boss hard you will win easy now if they make him hard you might lose. END OF POINT!
This might sound ignorant, but I think the humans should be the enemies. The Mutants have already been used, and if reused, that would turn Fallout into a Quake-like rpg. The same thing with the Enclave. I think BiS should stay away from the "someone-trying-to-take-over-the-world-and-you-have-to-kill-him" type game. The enemy should be someone with a plan that just happens to involve your village/town/city being destroyed.

Aliens did kinda make sence in FO2, in one of the games there is a holodisk (maybe it is in the dialog...) that said that the AIs were based on alien technology.
Why is everyone making Canada sound like the bad guy here? We barely have any offensive capabilities and YOUR the ones storing all the nukes! Wouldn't you need a conflict before you could possibly deside who the villains are?
