Xbox Achievements revealed

They've sold us the line that the Behemoth is a unique encounter and that the Fatman is this rare weapon tied specifically to this unique, one-off fight right from the start.

This completely contradicts that.

Hence the ewwww.

Not to mention there being multiple Behemoths is too bad for the concept. He'd work better as a one-off.

Tbh I don't care about achievements, but I just found it a good list to see some of the stuff I'll be doing. Besides I only own a PC, so I don't know if these achievements count or not; either way it doesn't matter.

I liked the good/bad/neutral karma bit though.

EDIT: Actually I was hoping for the behemoth to be more than one mutant.

I think the number of Behemoths is equal to the number of Fatman shots.

I'm so gonna try to lure some behemoths to megaton just to see what happens, like the city wars people did in Oblivion. :D

Me likes Redeemer... I mean Fat Man.

Anyway, are there any pics/videos of the Behemoth besides the render and the one with the mini nuke blowing up behind it?

There's a cool pic in the Vault Survival Guide unless that's what you meant by render.

There is also a specific Bethesda achievement that will be unlocked throughout the community once a million copies of Fallout 3 have been sold.

"Selling to the masses."

The accompanying Vault Boy picture shows Vault Boy laughing while he lights up his cigar with a burning fifty dollar bill.

You successfully destroyed a successful and time-honored franchise.

How's that for an achievement?

Lmao, those achievements are really retarded, especially the ones you cant skip. I never liked achievements. I mean, whats the point if you know what to do to get them? Would make more sense if they were kept secret.

I imagine the 18 quests are a mix of storyline things and more notable quests. Like for example in Fallout 2 things like getting the car working or dealing with Gecko's power plant would be an example of more notable quests.

They might come at the end of various chapters in the story. How long said chapters are, is up in the air for now.

Though I doubt what I said is true. I could still be.

Didn't the bobbleheads increase your SPECIAL stats? With 20 of them and the Intense Training perks, just how easy will it be to max out all your stats? Doesn't this make SPECIAL essentially useless?

Each Bobblehead updates on of the 7 characteristics or one of the 13 skills.

But that still makes you increase 17 SPECIAL stats if you so desire. And we don't even know about wierd surgery stat increases that have been in Fallout 1 and 2. Plus Mentats for example give you a whopping PE +5, INT +5 now as seen in the Megaton Demo Video. It really looks like SPECIAL has also been raped.

Right, I misread it and thought you meant that any bobblehead could increase any stat.

Anyway, in the first Fallout you could permanently increase your SPECIAL stats by 12 (Gifted + the 5 surgeries), and in Fallout 2 by 20 (Gifted + 7 Gain perks + 4 surgeries + 2 brain alignments).

Silver-Tongued Devil 20
Won 50 Speech Challenges

Data Miner 20
Hacked 50 terminals

Keys are for Cowards 20
Picked 50 locks

ewwwwwwwwwwwwww smells like speech mini game...

There's no speech minigame

Depending on your skills, you can click a dialogue option only available to someone who has a good enough speech skill. If you succeed, I'd guess that's 1/50 on the speech achievement.
