I buy a pontiac Fiero, but i modify it like a Ferrari, same red paint, same logo, Would you buy it?

Afterall it'S the right red, it the right Logo, the right name, what's wrong?
IT a rape of the name Ferrari, this is how we feel about FO:POS.

Very good analogy, but FOBOS compared to a real Fallout game is more like taking a Yugo, painting it blue, and calling it a red Ferrari.

 Indeed I must concur.

Rosh, would you marry me? You just articulated my opinions about F3 and FOBOM (F.: Brotherhood of Masturbation) in such a precise and nasty way, that I realised I love you...

How dumb do you have to be to post on a forum that you're going to troll another forum and then tell the other forum which forum you originally came from so that anyone from the forum that you're trolling can go dig up your original post?

Dumb enough to be in the target audience for Fallout Enforcer, obviously.

This is some funny @ss shit. There is nothing more hilarious than a bunch of fellow Fallout fans flaming a complete moron.

Lock this topic, please. It's run it's course.

We don't lock topics just because they've run their course, generally. It'll die out on its own, in due time. And by not locking it anyone that feels like it can still comment on it, rather than feeling constrained

You know what the say "when a topic's run its course, it'll die out on its own"

In all actuality, I do feel with you guys on a similiar situation. I was a Sega fan back in the "Sega Does What Nintendon't" generation. I didn't waste $100 on Panzer Dragoon Saga...yet. I'm really close to doing that. Naturally, I cried when I heard that Sammy did their hostile takeover and forced Sega to concentrate on arcade games, because an Xbox port of Out Run 2 seems a hopeful dream now.

I am a hardcore, long time Sega fan and in my opinion the cancellation of Fallout 3 cannot even be compared to the downfall of Sega.

The resentment many Fallout fans harbor towards Interplay at the moment defies description and will linger for many years to come. I can almost guarantee it. The fact that Interplay has chosen to pursue childish console games in favor of the depth inherent to the PC Fallout RPGs is scarring and reeks of betrayal. Sorry man, but that's the way we feel.

Sammy has not taken over Sega; Sammy purchased 22% of Sega's stock and has little influence over Sega's current hardware strategy. Sega has also sold out in terms of the games it now develops. There's always a chance older fans will receive a sequel to Panzer Dragoon Saga and Shenmue 2, yet the chances of this have decreased since Sega has decided to do eveything in its power to cater for mainstream gamers. The decision to port Out Run 2 to the Playstation 2 in spite of the fact the arcade game runs on Xbox hardware and so would be a breeze to convert to the Xbox is a sign of Sega's willingness steer far away from innovation.

I hope Sonic Heroes sells enough copies to justify Sega's current stance on developing quality titles for the leading consoles. Sammy would prefer Sega to focus on nothing but arcade games. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Interplay, like Sega, has been forced to adapt to the changing market. In the process they've both sacrificed much of their identity.

Hmmm...

Myself, I somewhat agree with Ferrari. I've been a long-time Fallout fan, yet I found Tactics quite fun. Sure, it had some flaws, but that didn't stop it from being great. Tribes 2 had lots of flaws, and it was great. You don't have any right to bash Ferrari for having a well thought-out and intelligent post.

The problem with most people is that their heads have been filled with other people's opinions, mostly D&C's and NMA's. They agree with whatever someone with greater power says. Half the people I know who say BoS or Tactics sucks haven't even played it. You guys don't seem to be very open-minded....

Instead of bashing BoS, why not go out and try it out? That way, you'll know for sure that it sucks/is okay. Sure, it probably sucks, but hey, at least you'll know. I mean, I'm going to go rent it, just to see. Even if it is filled with incredible plot holes and wrong stuff, just try to think of it as not Fallout. That sounds really wrong, I realize, but you may have more fun.

Even if it is almost not close to Fallout in any way, and it's still a decent game, that doesn't stop it from being decent. Go try it out, maybe you'll change your opinion.

Oh, and you do realize that the "true" Fallout fans are almost helping our chances of losing FO3? It started with Fallout Tactics. Some things were wrong in it, and it had technical problems, but the Fallout fans never bothered to look at the good stuff, and just continued to bash it, despite it being a good game. Kind of ironic... the people that wanted another Fallout game were making it not happen.

I urge you guys to just be open-minded for once and go out and try it out. And if it sucks, then feel free to inform me, but I'll still rent it to try it for myself. You may realize that someone else's opinion may be different than yours. A game that sucks in your mind may be liked by someone else.

Wow, isn't that ironic...

Didn't you notice that Ferrari realized the error in his ways?

Not only that, but he even posted an Open Apology!

Tsk tsk, pwn3d by your very inspiration.
