hrmm... simple straight to the point lines, the artist who made that picture knows exactly what lines to put in. mostly that picture really comes together with the digital coloring that he performed. i sat there thinking it could be paints but when i looked at it enough i realized it had to be a cg work.... honestly i dont think that work was done in photoshop, i've seen great photoshop colorings but the blending between shades, light and shadow is a little too good for photoshop blockiness....
lol, my art skill over the past years has been surging foreward from practically nil stickfigure drawing to on par with many anime(which is saying a lot and isnt, anime LOVE to keep the human form broken down into simple shapes and dont blend them much). its mostly because i study the art itself and try to understand it at its core, what the artwork TRUELY is and not that its a pretty picture or apparently made by someone with high skill. hell ive seen some very cartoony drawings that scream the skill of the artist....
