Most Hated NPC's

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
We know them. We hate them. For a variety of reasons. Either because they are despicable, annoying, and other reasons. Here is what I think are the top five most hated characters in the series so far:

1. Residents of Vault 101 (Trouble on the Homefront. Enough said. Ungrateful bastards! Feel free to waste them all!)
2. Joanne Lynette (She can ban you from Vault City for a variety of reasons, cutting off access to certain quests. Plus she's a bigot.)
3. Angela Bishop (If you refuse to sleep with her as a man when taken to her room, she cries rape, turning the Bishop's hostile. You can put her in her place as a woman.)
4. Dave (The guy demands that you refer to him as the President or he'll have you executed. What a narcissist!)
5. Princess (What a brat! You can make her cry of course even though it costs only 1 karma point.)

Use this thread to discuss what you think are the most hated NPC's in the game or to comment on my opinion.

Nobody in paradise falls makes any sense especially that slave companion.
That's all I can remember being bothered by. Besides Angela. But if you don't refuse she's pretty cool.

Vault 101, bunch of bastards. Poorly written ones at that. There should be people sticking up for the Lone Wanderer like Gomez and Butch (unless of course you let his mother die), not just standing there going "Goodbye, we'll miss you :-( "

Ah but if you do as she asks you and kiss her ass as much as possible she makes you Captain of the Guard. That comes with much authority.

Angela's story is kind of a sad one given the environment she grew up in and the neglect she suffers. But hey, don't go to her room in the first place might help ya.

Another wasteland tit. Not much to say about him really.

Eh she's not as bad as Sticky, though you can shoot him.

I don't think I hate any NPCs as such, though off the top of my head Saint James, Amata, that Legion asshole in charge of the arena (at least when playing as a female Courier) to name a few.
 
Here are some more NPC's you'll love to hate.

6. Jacklyn (She attacks an innocent man for his star bottlecap necklace, and even cries out for help claiming he's crazy while she acts like the innocent victim! (Women. Go figure.) She even lies that he stole the necklace from him. Worse, if you tell her you have some star bottlecaps, she attacks you! Luckily, if she doesn't turn hostile, you can find proof on his body that she is lying and then confront her about it! Payback for him in his name!)

7. Metzger (Slave guild leader and total bastard. Responsible for enslavement of Sulik's sister whom you can only save in the Restoration Project.)

8. John Bishop (Neglectful husband who cares more about running his crime empire than her. Tries to get you to murder two politicians rather than getting his men to do the work for him.)

9.Sibley (He refuses to honor the deal at the end of Operation Anchorage and turns on you and the other two friendly outcasts. Even if you save them, it still turns the outcasts at For Independence hostile.)

10.Roy Phillips (He wants to kill everyone in Tenpenny Tower, even those who tolerate ghouls. Even if you get the ghouls in peacefully, he still kills them all.)
 
Oh God, lets see.

Amata: Two-faced cunty McBitch faced daddy's girls who gladly stabs you in the back in order to please daddy. A true friend sticks up for you and stands by your side.

Samuel Cook: Self important hypocrite. Hates the NCR saying they keep the "little man" down but he and his crew bully, terrorize and murder both NCR citizens and Mojave locals. Wished there was a option to give him a verbal bitch slap for his hypocrisy.

Jules, Crandon, Ms. Hostetler and all of the North Vegas residents: Whiny, xenophobic, drug addled, disillusioned hobos(in the eternal words of AlChestBreach,"Hey hobos! Your town is crap and you should feel bad!") who seem to believe that the NCR is worse then the Legion. Felt no qualms having every single one of them eat the barrel end of my shotgun. If anything, I took care of the trash.

Jeannie May: Evil cunt who couldn't deal with someone criticizing her town, so she had a pregnant women and her unborn child sold into Legion slavery while telling everyone that the women left her husband to go to New Vegas. Again, evil cunt.

General Oliver/president kimball ; their incompetent morons that couldn't tell their ass from their head.

Dean domino: I really liked dean domino From a story perspective , but dam he's one insecure narcissists. He wanted to make Sinclair suffer just because he had a slightly better life then him, and he will backstab you if you don't stroke his ego.

Thomas hildern: he's a pompous asshole that thinks he's the greatest mind in science, and takes credit for his assistant's achievements.

Manny Vargas: he's shitty self intitled prick, and a even more shittier best friend. He was jealous that his best friend actually moved on with his life and got married, and was happy that his best friend's(Boone) wife was dead, and gets mad that he's not over her. What fucking best friend does that? I killed that fucker the firsts chance I could.

That's all I can think of at the tops of my head I'll edit more later....

That's the interpretation I had as well. Manny loved Boone in ways he wasn't ready to deal with. Plus his wife was a bitch. Manny's attitude is totally understandable. I've been there bud.

No offense, but imo that doesn't make him any less wrong, no matter if he loved him or not, he shouldn't be happy that a pregnant women was brutally murdered/captured for the Slave trade

But he don't even know what really happened to her, only the courier, Boone, legion personnel doing it and the one sold her know.
 
I think Manny's moment of joy that made Boone discard their friendship was involuntary. Just a moment of relief that slipped out when Boone came to him about Carla. If he had better self control he could probably have been there for his friend, but the sudden news and his feelings, whatever they may be, got the better of him.
 
I would like to nominate Victor. That robot always seemed to bother me. He always felt condescending and patronizing. I grew to hate that smug look and tone of voice after a while. He was always there waiting for you at certain points on your way to the Platinum Chip with the same grin. It felt like I was being taunted and manipulated at the same time, and I didn't appreciate it. Whoever programmed that prick must have been a real piece of work(if it was House himself that would make sense). I hate Yes Man for the same reasons. They're basically the same asshole with a different face and voice. Fuck securitrons. They're worse than synths. Muggy is okay, though. At least I pulled his strings instead of the other way around.
