I'll tell that again: this list is mostly done by russian community member named "HEX" (yes, this is his nickname). After doing this he ceased any FT-related work. So all we have is this.
It's isn't about lags at all.
From what i can see here, you are dealing with usual "random hole in the wall" bug. Sometimes objects won't behave like solid walls or floors, and you can shoot through them from certain position (and only at certain positions at the other side). This isn't limited...
No, you don't get -rep for saving her. General is just that paranoid :)
And you get some free books later on which you wouldn't get if you leave her in her prison.
He didn't gave up, he has no plans for his own big mods at this stage. OFM was intended as starting platform for any future mods, so anyone can make their projects with all this cool stuff.
Hmt himself is pretty busy now i believe.
Cute piggy :) And overall good work, sir!
Though i can't really connect some models with FT engine in any possible way (they would need many "similar" models AND tiles to fit in), i see your collection as nice inspiration for anyone with new and crazy ideas.
Can't stop being amazed, seriously)
So here we go, i want to leave this here in new and clear topic. Feel free to try those fixes, test them and report success/failure. While reporting, try to specify what version do you use (GoG, Steam, whatever). Make sure you work with latest 1.27 bos.exe file.
Disclaimer: if nothing else...
First of all i should say this: info came from russian topic on russian fallout.ru forum, and this specific fix mentioned only "preserving tagname for main character between maps". Neither more nor less than this.
To be honest, AFAIR no one of them really tried to research HEX structure of...
It was a research in collaboration with HEX and Hmt - members of Fallout.ru
I believe i've already posted some findings in this forum, including "sniper" fix, potential burst bug fix, random colors fix and such.
There is HEX fix, but it requires you to edit Bos.exe
If you are fine with it, then there you go, do it in Notepad++ or other HEX-editor:
1) Find F6857
2) Change value 12 to 56
That should lock tagnames from engine "erasing" them.
It actually works. Whenever you make action that costs some AP you have a chance to do this "for free". You'll have some text above your head when this happens.
