    I mean, the dialogue is fucking terrible and tries too hard to be hip so much it's cringe worthy. the themes are handled with the subtlety of a litter of cats being thrown into a woodchipper and flimsy, and that is coming from someone who is politically aligned to the same "side" as it.
    I enjoyed them for the atmosphere and the reactivity (before the final episode that is). But I kinda enjoyed it DESPITE itself.

    On a side note, new episodes of LiS2 can only played if you purchase the full game or the season pass. You can't buy the episodes individually. What's the point in making them episodic then? Might as well wait for the game to be finished.

    I liked Split up untill it could simply not sustain itself. That's also something that Shyamalan has a tendency to do - some of his movies FEEL really good, they start out good, they move and behave good, and you anticipate goodness. Then it implodes, sooner or later

    well, i do believe you gotta seperate the art from the autist but like if an author's beliefs had a clear affect on the work itself it'd be dumb to outright dismiss it. SGTMKIV made a great doom mod with brutal doom and i'm not gonna not enjoy that just because he's a sociopathic racist. but if the mod took on racist undertones then ignoring that would be dumb.

    Death of the author is usually only used on literary critique to offer a wider range of analysis than "what did the author say".
    It was never meant to solve arguments about wether you can still watch ren and stimpy.
    In the end it's a personal choice wether the author's person affects your enjoyment of something.

    Ironically (or appropriately), the very meaning of Death of the author has been subjected to itself so now it has no actual meaning, just a cool buzzword to throw around on your shitty youtube video to seem cooler.

    I am not a fan of public apologies, because they are almost never genuine. And they aren't gonna apologize anyway, the Sweet Little Lies meme exist for a reason, it's Bethesda's M.O, only getting called out because they made a game that only a handful of their most die hard fans can even tolerate.

    The problem with it is that Bethesda can faking being pained all they want, and the Fallout fans can whine all they want, but all Beth is seeing is 'don't do 76 again, stay with 4'. And then ES6 comes out and everyone explodes in adoration for Beth again. Beth isn't actually *hurt* from this, is all.

    I have even seen people use Amazing World of Gumball as an example of Cal Arts style... even tho GUmball has like a hundred different styles every episode, it's kinda the gimmick of the show.

    I tell him to SPECIFICALLY scout for a Web Designer, and that portofolio was obligatory. He told me he got it. Then by end of the morning I ask him if anyone has send their portfolio. Tells me nobody has sent a portfolio but that he has 20 different applicants ready.

    I take a look at a few... none of them are designers, all of the engineers... of course they wouldn't have a Portfolio.
    Then the guy tells me he is gonna check the offer again, I noticed it says "Web Developer" instead of Designer. I aks him to let me read it... he not only put up an offer for Engineers, he also used the word "Curriculum" instead of Portfolio.
