About Fallout 4's companion system

Given that some people draw "art" of deathclaws, I don't think making Ghouls look better will encourage that kind of person any more than usual.

I'm reminded of that Deathclaw with Boobs mod someone linked to a while ago. So yeah, I don't think it encourages them more.

Then went to this:

To this?

(Why do a lot of ghouls have a full head of hair?) EDIT: Could be wigs but fuck me are wigs that easy to find?

That and there's too many Pre-War ghouls. I don't mind 3/New Vegas' take on ghouls, but they should look more fucked up like Set.

Wow, I don't watch much FO4 gameplay, and I had no idea the ghouls looked that fucking bad in FO4...

What the fuck were they thinking!?

That's not a fucking ghoul!

That's a fucking burn victim!

To return things to the topic title for a second, did Bethesda fix the "companions blocking the door" problem that Skyrim had? Because New Vegas (a game made a year before) fixed it with the back-up command, but it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't fix this problem.

I remember that pissing me off in Fallout 1, but my Fallout 2 has a 'push character' button.

Was that in vanilla Fallout 2, or did the restoration mod add it?

Eh, wigs are very easy to find or make.

I imagine it'd be a growth industry thanks to ghouls.

Have you made a wig before? (genuinely curious)

Do they drop a wig headgear when killed? Because Griffon was a Bethesda ghoul that actually wears a wig and will drop one when killed.

No...they don't, not that I remember. I just knew someone would say "Wigs dumbass" if I didn't mention them.

I honestly can't remember, they might have done because I don't remember anyone (save Strong maybe) getting in the way. I think the back-up command would just be the "Hi, go over there!" command in 4.

You can easily order your companions to move to a specific location, and they usually get out of your way a lot quicker when you run into them than in Skyrim. So yeah, they actually fixed it.

You know, it would actually be kinda funny to see more tribal ghouls hunting for scalps to actually wear :D

Wow. Who woulda thunk it?

Oddly, yes, once for church.

A GOOD wig, obviously, is different from *A* wig.

But that's the thing, all the ghoul wigs are good wigs (they aren't wigs who are we kidding here, they have hair like Desmond from Point Lookout).

That sounds like the premise of a quest. Bunch of people scalped and you're tasked with finding out who's responsible, only to discover a broken Pre-War ghoul who couldn't handle the change they underwent. Tragic and disturbing at the same time.

Wow, kinda like a Silence of the lambs but instead of a skin suit it was a wig!

I actually mentioned something like that in a thread a while back, where there's a cult of ghouls wanting to be "smoothskins" again, so they murder people and skin them and wear body suits and face masks.

It was for a mod I think, I suggested they could use the "Ghoul Mask" as a good representation of the skin masks.

Wigs or skin, it's definitely a neat concept with ghouls that hasn't been done yet.
