Any 40K fans?

Recent 40k fan here, found out about it a few months ago (it´s recent compared to the almost 30 year franchise), love the lore background, books, and video games. Not really interested on the tabletop. I don´t think I ever saw any miniatures or codex on sale anywhere in my country, plus, I´m not very good at paiting.

Played a little as a kid. Stopped when prices went haywire.

Liked the Space Marines and Tyranids. Necrons and Tau seem pretty cool too. It's all aesthetically pleasing but I haven't done anything beyond looking at concept art in years.

Pretty much, yeah. What I've seen so far doesn't give me hope that this will be something exceptionally well-written, but it looks gorgeous, which is reason enough for me to keep a track of it.
Its nothing like as cool as TTS

You guys need to watch space marine (2010) movie it's excellent.

Magnus, but that is because of TTS. Most of my knowledge of 40k comes from Ciaphas Cain, Gaunt's Ghosts and the lore videos from Vaults of Terra and 40k Theories.
I was referring to TTS so that's good. My favourite is a tossup between Fyodor Karamazov and the Emperor. Because he's the motherfucking Emperor. Also, how they made a TTS voice sound great I do not know.

I am too poor and not enough of a hobbyist to collect and paint but the lore is amazing. Really liked reading the Terran rulebook that covers the timeframe from the Age Of Technology - The Horace Heresy and beyond.

Interesting how Imperium Of Man and Orks? use the demon space while Necrons, Eldar and Tau use the webways. Tyranids are just slow and zergy but the thought that the main fleet of Tyranids is still far far away is pretty freaky. Not to mention the chaos gods and the ones that made the necrons in the first place, the old ones.

There's also the terrifying theory that the Tyranid may in fact be running away from something as well, all the while devouring every genetic material they can in order to store the genetic of the alien species they consumed and preserves it. If the Tyranid are hard as fuck and horrifying to fight...imagine what's making them rush over to the Milky Way.

If you can count on one thing in the 40k universe, it is dark as fuck. Never ending war with not one side ever really gaining enough ground to make a difference.
