Western RPG? That would be a good setting...
Red Dead Redemption is the closest I can think of, though it's not really an RPG. This is the problem with the good RPG developers like Obsidian and InXile right now. They are all working on fantasy games. Someone make a Fallout replacement (Wasteland 3) or a space game or something. Enough of this fantasy stuff. I've got so many magic wands and mage spells I don't know what to do with them.
Well the story was pretty different but yeah they are similar gameplay wise. I did really like that game. I want a proper sequel to red dead revolver.Wasn't the game Gun "?" about the same as Red dead? Remeber trying it out at my friends house many years ago.

Do you have any games in mind? The only one that comes to my mind, off the bat, is Baldur's Gate.
I remember that game but never played it.Wasn't the game Gun "?" about the same as Red dead? Remeber trying it out at my friends house many years ago.

I'm having that problem also. I have to get through Underrail, Stasis, Shadorun Returns/Dragonfall, and whatever looks good on Steam summer sale.Remeber thinking it was ok at least. Was about to get it on steam but i have such a huge backlog right now so i would probably never play it.
Who else? But seriously look up the time period.I can guess which faction you'd side with, you bloody commie.
Too much. A RPG on the Russian Civil War is a good choice, because you have a lot of anarchy and chaos, moral choices and different factions to fight for.Yeah I know a little about the period. Russian history in general is interesting, I'd love an RPG that shows Russia throughout its entire history, from Genghis Khan, to the Tsars, to WW1, to the Civil War, to WW2, to the Cold War, to the dissolving of the USSR and the Red Square revolution. GIVE IT TO ME INDIE DEVS.
I would call that a fantasy western:Here, Hard West:

Although it is better than nothing I would say.A Unique “Weird” West World: Explore a world where Western legends meet demons, arcane rituals and satanic cults and where the dead can walk the Earth again. For a price.
I would love a cRPG set in the beginning of the Age of Discovery. Before anyone really knew about the "New World" and our character would be in the first ship to try and find land or something.I'd like there to be more historical RPGs in general. There are so many cool periods of history that I'd love to roleplay in: Alexander's campaigns in Asia, the fall of Rome (both the republic and the empire), the Viking era, the 100 years war, Revolutionary/Napoleonic France, Civil War era America, WW1, WW2, Vietnam and the Cold War would all make great settings for RPGs, instead we get a torrent of fantasy and sci-fi settings, which is better than nothing, I guess.
Yes! A mix between wild west and fantasy. Sounds dark tower-y. I love It.Here, Hard West:

Guns a good game but unfortunately it's a One-play-through-wonder.So due to this topic i actually spent even more on steam.. I'm not the proud owner of Gun and i hate you guys for this
