Bad Career Choices

lol. Fluffer.

I remember how when I first played the game I had no clue what it was.

Then I equated the fact that it was being asked of me... at a porn studio.

Ah, good times.

Fallout has two places >___<

The best thing about working as a fluffer was the chance to get pretty badly poisoned...

When I saw excrement expediter I was thinking "what a waste, they should have gone with fluffer" but there it is in first place. Mad props for the mutant league reference too.

Edit: a few quick ones of my own

Deathclaw handler (FO3)
Storm Trooper (any star wars)
Mobster (The Punisher) (they mostly serve to be tortured to death)
Scout (civilization series) Honestly you are never going home.
Police Officer (Sim City) Is the mayor trying to kill us?

PWN or die gives a list of 11 worst jobs in video games. Fallout 1, 2 and 3 are all featured, read on to find out how.

Actually, FO2 is featued twice, and FO1 is not featured at all.

When I first saw this newspost, I thought it was going to be a duplicate of the one about Interplay hirings.

I bet you were gleefully rubbing your hands together and cackling maniacally with joy at the prospect of yet again correcting us on something.

You suspect that Ausir is some kind of evil genius BN?

(if so, I will have to destroy you Ausir, there is only room for one evil genius on this forum, and I don't like competitors) :P

i'm surprised the career of the Enclave trooper isn't listed.
i remember when the sergeant ordered me to guard the vertibird, i actually stood there for a couple of (real world) hours waiting for something to happen...

but really, this list is mostly bull. scientists getting shot, pedestrians getting run over, gathering units in RTS being unarmed... how original.

the paper boy was a neat nostalgic element, tho'

also: imp in dungeon keeper. digging and getting slapped to dig faster is the career of the future.

Hah. The imps in the original DK should be on the top indeed.

I remember slapping them raw to send them in overdrive. They worked best when they were brutally beaten to the point of nigh-death.
