Bugs The Machine

The issue sparking anger and resentment appears to be .... quality.

Not quality in PR.

Not quality in suppression of free speech.

Not quality in repressing free enterprise.

Not quality in an implied payola system that co-opts the 'professional' game review sites and the dying text mag. media.

It's the quality of game -- product -- that is common experience.

It's not about a few bug patches any more.

Hello people,

A bit off topic but I thought that a Fallout crossover with Star Trek was quite possible, in ST after all there was a nuclear war before humanity gained it sense and started to focus on space exploration.

In my take the crew of Pike's Enterprise (give the man some chance to shine) arrive by accident in the Fallout universe, in Earth's orbit, differences are that in this universe the guy who invented the Warp drive never got the backing of any government to do so (Enclave would probably see him as a dirty 'mutie')

In order to return to their own universe they have to create the possibility for a Federation to arise in this universe, so the crew has to go down, face supermutants and meet the Brotherhood of Steel.

Please don't attack me on this, it was only a fan fic idea I made on a boring Friday evening :D

I think this idea is pretty good actually. It also fits right in with Star Trek lore (or history) as at at least to movies deals with Star Trek crews going back in time to repair something which is affecting the future. Many episodes in Star Trek also has this feature --- Star Trek crews going back in time.

The Star Trek crew would fit right into the Fallout universe.

The main problem I see is that Bethsoft tried to force STG and the Argus Array to submit to their, i.e. Bethsoft's forum's rules and policies.

This is, at best untactful -- and at worst, illegal.
(of some sorts).

Haha yes. It seems, that the developer already knew at that time, what the future will bring to us.

There must be some Bethesda starship out there and now it is going to hunt for the choosen one.
Does he have a chance?

(Would be a great story for a new Fallout btw... Choosen one against Bethesda Aliens!!)
