Cyberpunk 2077

Does anyone know if psionic is exist in cyberpunk universe? i admit i have just watch the new dredd, i think it would be cool alternative to a character who dont want to loses their humanity and want to keeping their empathy high.

Unfortunately, no, there's no supernatural elements in mainstream Cyberpunk 2077. Albeit, tech has gotten to the point where people's brains can be hacked.

I don't think psionics would be less damaging is this regard than cyber implants. And there's tons of equipment in CP2020 for those who don't want to lose their humanity. Like an exoskeleton and six-eyed helmet guy with a shotgun in the 2077 teaser wore.

Also, the thing about cyberpsychosis is that you can go pretty damn far without going crazy.

You can also get remade.

Remember, the lady in the trailer ends up a cop.

There's no Psionics?

My interest just got piqued again. Psionics and ESP always felt like a cop out for magic and a fantasy element. Even ruined Underrail for me, and thankfully fallout doesn't put them in the forefront either.

No, Shadowrun is elves and orcs and magic.

Cyberpunk 2020/2077 is just cybernetics and gene mods.

It's as hard a science as virtual reality where you can shoot through firewalls and fight with a supertech katana that can cut through steel can be.

I didn't say anything about Shadowrun.

And good to hear about 2077.

Finally get my hand on every single sourcebook and corebook. Lots of good stuff; chromebook I-IV, a book per every class/role (Live & Direct, Protect & Serve, Wildside, etc), Corporation Report vol 1-3 and even rulebook for cyberpunk 203x (which for a reason didn't get liked by some people).

Always take it to the edge, chombatta

2077 looks like Johnny Mnemonic. Right?

Basically, yeah, as Mike Pondsmith's setting was a combination of all of William Gibson's stuff put together. There's also going to be a focus on "Strange Days" and other cyberpunk works as I understand it. It should be out circa 2018.

could someone explain this, why does all nanoware and biomod seems to have high humanity cost compared to its cyberware equivalent?

I don't know, why it causes cancer?
Probably messing with DNA and growing "unfamiliar" elements on your body is not as healthy as even cyberware.
