Dead State is now on Kickstarter

Nice DayZ thread guys.

Oh wait...

Anyway, I'm pretty strapped for cash so I only managed to drop $15 on Dead State (which is funny considering I gave $115 for Wasteland 2).

so ... you are really saying that Lexx is such a player and that the problem is not with the fact that the gameplay supports shoot-first-ask-questions-later scenarios?

Again. This has nothing to do if the players are mature or not.

Look this thread has been derailed enough, its acknowledged on the DZ forums that some people take advantage of the open world and will simply kill whoever they come across.

Nothing wrong with bandits, infact it makes the game more fun but when EVERY player or indeed 99% of the players open up on survivors for no reason other then to steal a can of beans.

Again my point about mature RP communities has been ignored.

:D That was explained already at least twice. 99% of the players open up on survivors for the simple reason that they don't want to die. That makes them try to shot first. There is no need to kill other players for their beans- food is easy to get anyway.

Lexx, you can explain him the issue, but he will still claim that its not the game play. As someone said a long time ago. We cant understand it for him.

If they'd move the boxed copy to the $100 tier I'm sure a lot of people including me would instantly up their pledge.

Anyway, congrats on passing the $150k milestone.

If they spend all the excess money on those boxed copy and end up with less actual money for the development, it's not really a net gain ;)

That's probably true, though I don't feel inclined to give more money for a virtual Badge that I'll have on my Forum Profile.

It's the same situation in both games, because of the same reasons.
