Crazy. Somehow someone into economics must have figured out this is the time to revive franchises. But I have to admit it, I got really damn excited the moment I saw this thread.

Damn and here I thought 3D realms had just gone to the dogs, now I'm itching to play this game again, not the old one, there's only so many times that one can go through that game before it gets to be old hat.

Damn though I'd love to see some more story in the game than the original Duke 3D though, though hopefully he better have a whole new arsenal of witty one liners that aren't taken from evil dead

Duke's always been Pro US, at least as far back as I can remember...

One of the very few Pro US icons that I actually like too, that's not completely filled to the brim of patriotic rubbish (noticeably anyways )

Yep.. in my opinion, the Duke is so much Pro US, that it already rocks. Not like (as example) Call of Duty 4, where you never see real Pro US, but you can feel it every minute in an action szene.

It's a pretty good teaser. I really like the look of the monsters, since they look damn close to the old ones.

The title, which is currently without a firm release date, was previously thought to be a PC exclusive, however 3D Realms CEO Scott Miller told us: “We plan to have a multi-platform release if possible. We're not nailing down a date yet, but we're excited about the game's progress.”

I also expected better graphics, but I honestly don't care how it looks now I have seen the trailer. I just want a nice simple OTT Duke Nukem FPS with silly one liners and ultra-violence inflicted upon Pig-Cops.

As for it going to consoles, well it is a big market now, and they need to recoup production costs for a whole decade.
