E3 2018

So... Charlie from Always Sunny is singing a song to present Rage right now

This waste of money they call E3 entertainment is just too much. I can't force myself to watch any of it. I have now went past the age limit of most games announced at these things. When a new Doom and Fallout makes me depressed you know shit is fucked up.

Shadows Die Twice looked pretty damn cool. From the sound effects and the animations it seems to be working off of the Soulsborne framework so I'm hoping it's a Bloodborne esque spin-off/evolution of the gameplay.

So far the only things catching my interest is Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077, Kingdom Hearts 3 and... that's all I can think of...

EDIT: And Devil May Cry 5. Almost forgot about that.

Sony, Nintendo and the PC show probably have more but at this point, I couldn't care about the press conferences. They ought to just stream trailers without any presenters or live shows.

So, Microsoft is finally getting out of the den they buried themselves in. 1.45 hours of games and announcements. Too bad they're still stingy on exclusives. Why tho.

All Gears of War and Halo games. Hahaha.

Exactly.

Forza is rad, though. Make Test Drive Unlimited great again.

Metro Exodus looks interesting, really wish it will take a more immersive sim approach. DMC V looks great too.
I was really expecting FromSoft to show an Armored Core game but Shadows Die Twice and that other mech game are pretty ok too.
Never played kingdom hearts but the trailer for the 3rd one looks like a fanfic made by a disney/final fantasy fan. Also, the hell happened to Aqua?

The things that interested me, with those on the edge in italics, were:
  • Crackdown 3,
  • Days Gone,
  • Doom: Eternal,
  • Dying Light 2,
  • Indivisible,
  • Lorn(?),
  • Phantom Doctrine,
  • Sea of Solitude,
  • Session,
  • Starfield,
  • Strange Brigade
  • The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit,
  • Wolfenstein Young Blood
So overall not a bad E3 so far. Just a disappointment with nearly everything else like Div2, Fallout 76, and there's just something off about Cyberpunk 2077.

I have not seen all the titles yet of this E3 but going by that list that Danuis has provided so far none of these titles interests me.

Doom Eternal may be a good Doom game but I did not care about Doom 2016. I rather play maps and TCs for the original Doom 2 such as Wolfenstein Blade of Agony.

I can not judge about Starfield as there was really little to show. At least it is an original IP so Bethesda is not fucking up anotehr classic.

Wolfenstein Youngblood. I couldn't give a damn about Wolfenstein TNO and TNC and now replacing BJ Blazkowicz with his twin daughters fighting nazis in alternative timeline 80s? Pretty sure that this will be another propaganda piece for the far left and SJWs.

Only game I want to see and hope it will turn out to be good is Metroid Prime 4.

Just Cause 4 might be good if they advance on 3's shortcomings.

Edit: The Quiet Man? Okay...?

Alright, Ubisoft's up. Skull and Bones looks neat.

New Assassins Creed: Ulysses or Odyssey. Kassandra plays nice and the map is apparently huge. Hope the gameplay keeps on evolving from old AC.

Edit 1: PC's up. Neocab, Night Call, Star Control: Origins, Hunt: Showdown, The Sinking City and [edit here later] look good so far.

There's also a literal sharknado game, and factorio 3d via Satisfactory.

Edit 2: And now for sony. LoU2 takes the first slot and goes from gushy lesbians to gory bashing to gushy lesbians. I never got into LoU1 because of the story and gameplay really...wonder if anything changes for 2.
