Weapon sounds are very good!
Real weapons are great!
Ammo scarcity - good!
Early recruits sucks.
Weapon/armour balance is crap. Need 10 bullets to kill raider.
Melee weapons are absurdely overpowered, especially compared with useless guns.
Big Gate lever at Rock Falls doesn't work, making this mod unplayable.

Actually big gate not opening is an old FT bug that supposed to be fixed in 1.27 patch that this mod uses.
Finally I was able to make this mod much more playable for me by increasing damage for all ranged weapons by 5 points in average (both min and max) and lowering melee damage by 25%, so I can enjoy it again. I also lowered damage radius for most grenades/explosives so they don't hurt thrower too often.

Firearms had higher damage and melee was lower in some middle version of the mod, but you'd often get oneshot by shotguns early on, pairs of snipers were a bit too much of a menace and having a melee guy in your team wasn't really worth the trouble. I suppose it's a thin line to walk, let me know if you find anything else of note.

If you meant the lever after the minefield, it worked fine when I was testing the mod and during all earlier playthroughs, I'll doublecheck it.

Shotguns work well on close distance, but I don't remember them oneshotting me (though I play on normal difficulty level). Other early weapons are useless in single mode, especially on second mission where raiders need nearly 10 hits from smg to be killed. Bursts help but only at close range and eat too much ammo. First mission the enemy is much weaker, so maybe it's not the problem of low damage but too much armour on raiders starting from second mission.
The gate bug only happens if someone stands in front of the gate when you pull the lever for the first time, so it can be avoided if you know about it.
Also early weapons cannot be used for outsniping enemy because they all use short type aiming.
 
Yeah, not any more, shotguns were way overtuned earlier so you'd get absolutely wrecked if a shotgunner manages to get close, your whole team could be wiped out if they were bunched together even in endgame. I assume that was part of those burst fire changes that are patched into exe file in Redux, shotguns got much stronger.
SMGs are supposed to be used in burst fire only and you kinda lack the training to control them well at that point, I assume raiders still attempt it because they like to spray and prey. Pistols are probably the best weapon early on for your newbie troops, they have a moderate accuracy bonus and high crit, good damage and easy to handle. Single shot rifles have a high accuracy bonus and a moderate crit bonus so it offsets the short range formula somewhat, only the winchester out of all single shots isn't long range because it uses handgun ammo.

Haven't done one for my mod because I don't have 9x18 ammo in it. If you really need the sprite I could probably make one when I'm bored.
 
Really need! I 'm fanat PM and AKM, and outer soviet guns. Its legendary weapon from vintage 60x, brutal minimalistic beautiful designs!

A few IMHO critics.
In postnuclear world need more rotating bolt rifle - true classic from World War 1! Cheap and reliable. Mauser 98k, Mosin rifle, SKS carbine so far shooting to Africa conflict.
You doing quality and beautiful guns, almost best sprites for FoT, especially vintage weapons, but energy guns VERY ugly. IMHO, need more retrofuturistic energy weapons for classic Fallout and New Vegas. And ammo out pack, more postnuclear wild wasteland style.
Allen Blaster - most cool item, for all Fallout parts! Please, replace ugly water gun.
Only one you competitor for doing exactly the same quality sprites.

I agree, energy weapons are a bit too futuristic but I just couldn't find good retro-future images to make the full energy weapon set.
 
Please, replace Scorpio SMG for М3 Grease gun. Scorpio - exotic gun for south US states, Grease gun to be mass sell civilian people to liberty weapon law states and many storage National Guard forces arsenal.
More trophy Chinese Gun - Fallout canon Alaska war!
STEN gun "Plumber's Nightmare" - very cheap SMG to world, ideal self-made postnuclear weapon.

Not a bad idea, there aren't many Scorpions in the game, but M3 would be indeed be much more likely to encounter, I might get around to it some day. I'd like to include Sten too but the SMG category is kinda crowded.
 
Big antitank rifle - old classic WW2, ideal cheap and effective weapon for power armor. PTRD rifle recent use Ukraine civil war for old soviet arsenal to sault mine.
Please, create AKM for drum magazine, look cool and stylish.
Browning M1918 and RPK 7.62 drum - class light machine gun, true classic!

One day I'll probably add a handful of modded weapons with drum mags, scopes and such, but it probably won't be anytime soon, I'm kinda busy with another project.
PTRD/S is unlikely, I don't want to introduce more ammo types.

If you need more sprites for your work I could just teach you how to make them, it isn't hard.
 
I'm happy with what I have sprites. My IHMO critic for ideal atmosphere postnuclear world.
Ideal FOT - many Eqilibrium vintage guns + wonderful Darin animation critters for classic Fallout style.

3d models for Photoshop?
