You do realize Brazil is located in South-America, not Europe, right?

There was a news article few weeks ago that 2% of Russian fans are rooting for Brazil in Euro 2012.

I think you're confusing them with the average American. ;)

Speaking of which, who voted for Ireland? Croatia's going to show you who's who in the upcoming match...

Group c line up was intimidating at first, but after yesterdays tie croatia has a high chance of moving to quarter finals.

Spain germany and england are the only real threat for my country. We'll se what england can offer today.

Lol, yes. Seeing Germany and Portugal play was a huge contrast.

Was it? They didn't look very good, to me. But it's pretty normal to start slow, not a lot of countries so far really got off to a roaring start.

Well so far there where only two high profile matches ger-por and esp-ita, maybe england and france will offer some eye candy to spectators.

poll is missing brazil. Italy are looking pretty good for bunch of actors. Spain can go fuck themselves.
It'd be hard for Brazil to participate due to their continental handicap.
I hope Germany wins, they're overdue.
But I guess it's more likely that Spain wins again.

As a patriotic Englishman of course I am hoping for Germany to win.

I'd be interested to see how you play with France. A draw, perhaps?

Well, my predictions were alright. A fun little game, nothing spectacular, except the precisive (or lucky) Nasri goal. Surprisingly the French played much better though. :?

Main bit I was interested in was the bus I was on. A normally 15 minute ride took 4 hours due to flooding (luvely bit of English summer) so a lot of Euro fans were getting quite distressed they couldn't watch the footy.

That's funny, And quite sad. Imagine the look on their faces, not being able to see Poland kick some ass.

Well, France played better than I anticipated. Much more aggressive than them silly brits. It's just a tie, but it's the right kind of tie.

Sweden-Ukraine was the most entertaining match so far, to my mind. Not the best, obviously, but very entertaining. Bad defending makes for fun play.

Hope some teams start showing a little more than they have so far, soon. Things'll get interesting now.

It's sad that the United States haven't really opened up to Soccer. The only ones that do are down near the mexican border, and they don't watch any games that doesn't include Mexico.

Whee, against all odds. I almost regret not going to see the match in the fan-zone, missed all the festivities :|

Still, that was probably the easiest match for Ukraine compared tot he upcoming matches. I'd be honestly surprised if we made it out of the group.

Oh yes, Facebook's getting flooded. The irony is I watched all the high-profile matches but not this one. Tough luck, eh?
