My notes in the Primitive Tribe so far:

*************
*spoilers again*
*************

1. The mountain wall (which looks very inaccessible) is very accessible. I can walk through it as if it wasn't there. That's not right.

2. The well can be repaired, after the weapon gathering quest, but i think it would feel more natural if you could repair it if you have enough perception (presuming that if you have low perception you don't notice it's broken) and without getting the quest from the head warrior of the tribe. But if you would repair it this way, you would get no money from Marli.

3. I would be very happy if anyone could pm me about the way i can complete the shaman quest. (and about the way to get in the cave, if it does not imply finishing the shaman quest and the others in the village)

*end of spoilers*

Yes, there is. If you already did somes quests, try talking to the same people again.
ahh ok, well ive talked to every1 in the town

:spoiler :

,

ive fixed the well, restocked the weapons, cured the shaman, got the wood for the women. Now no1 will start a conversion with me an i missing something, cheers

If i liberate the slaves in the slave camp and ask Sulik's sister to wait until i kill the guards, the escaping slaves and suliks' sister herself will join combat, on the slaver's side. Somehow i think that is wrong.

After i return and kill the slavers, the people in the other pen are acting okay, although they don't run away, they just remain in their cage looking at me...

P.S.: My mistake, there was one guard i missed. Slaves ran off afterwards.

Are you by chance running windows 98? Can anyone else confirm this.

I using win XP pro.

Edit: I think that the AP ammo damage fix has something to do with this "WorldMapDelay" issue.

I'm using a clean Fallout 2 installation and an old version of your patch (1.02.21). Can I install this patch on top of it? Does it solve the auto-skipping ending screens bug?

From an other forum:

Is anyone else experiencing a crash when you use the .44 magnum revolver to shoot geckos in the eyes? I just bought the revolver in the den, and when i tried shooting some geckos in the eyes it crashed. I haven't tried it on other enemies yet, or aiming at other parts, but so far it has crashed twice when i shot them in the eyes. I'm using the latest version of the expansion with all the extra mods turned on.

I am having the same problem. I bought the .44 at The Den and when I try to shoot Tyler's gang with it, the game crashes ("application error"). I remember that I was able to kill Marc the first time I used it but when I ran into the church I got that application error. Oh, and I also use the 14mm/.223 pistol sound from Fallout 1. Maybe it has something to do with that?

Otherwise amazing expansion!

Congratulations!

You almost really did it. Seems you only got some bugs left in the weapon and ammo mods (Thank god it skipped those).
Just got the children of the den off the streets (finally my inventory is save!!!) Didn't encounter bugs yet but who knows. I got finals now so i won't know what sulik's sister looks like for some time. I'll let you know what bugs i'll come up with in some days. But you really did great so far. Many thanks from Holland.

One more:

Myron seems to 'freeze' after he tells you about the EPA. After you let him stay for putting it on the map you can't interact with him in any way. He won't follow you around, he'll just stay in the spot where he is spawned and will not make any comments. He will fight if the fight goes on near him. That's all for now. (i tried going form one location to another and nothing changed... i finally ended up killing him for being anoyingly passive)

I also noticed that in the new areas, in some places, you can interact with things through walls. (for example the sink in the building which has the brotherhood of steel office architecture can be used from behind the wall of the bathroom)

Awesome mod, you did a great job.

One bug I noticed :

When falling in the ghost farm the characters all got crippled (which is normal from what I can see from the change log) but when trying to blow up the outhouse, things get weird.

The outhouse never get blown up, the only thing that happens is that my character get out of it as if there hadnt been any explosive inside, but two (of my three) npc get hit for about 30 damages.

The two NPC who get hurt are random, the third one never has any scratch (neither does my char).

(using fresh installation with every extra coming with the mod, on WinXP)

I'm a little confused about the extended rustling quest in Klamath. First, I helped the Duntons without picking up the claws. When I talked to them in town they immediately told me that I "better keep your mouth shut if you know what's good for you". One of the dialog options seem to clearly reference the claws and if I choose it I can convince them to leave Torr alone. If I helped Torr instead and refused to help the Duntons, however, I would not be able to get that dialog even if I had the claws in my inventory.

EDIT: I got the Duntons to confess after helping Torr. The key is not to talk to them on the herd map at all. This causes a dialog option regarding the scorpion claws to appear as it was probably supposed to (doesn't skip straight to "keep your mouth shut"). This time you need to have the claws in your inventory.

you can no longer get the Ghost Farm quest in Modoc, the option to ask Jo about G.E.C.K is not there even if you have not found the G.E.C.K yet. I done most of the other quests in town and is accepted.

Another bug I had: I helped Lara's gang to kill Tyler. After this Lara and her gang walk away from the map without saying anything. Then when I go to eastern Den again, Lara asks me again if I'm ready to help her with Tyler. If I say yes, I find myself in the residential area (without Lara's gang). Tyler and his gang are still dead of course.

Maybe you've upset the mayor the first time you've spoken to him. He doesn't talk to you about that if you anger him. I've done the quest without problems.

I've discovered that if you clean up the slaver's camp Lara, the chief ranger from NCR will give you your quest reward over and over again. The only dialog options are those that congratulate you about finishing the quest. It really sucks. (you do get infinite money and xp)

-There is a shovel on the ground next to Anna's diary in Den and again one shovel in bookshelf next to it. At least the ground shovel should be removed (leftover from testing?).

This is unchanged from 1.02.

Also, people, don't report issues here and in the patch sticky.

quick question to all of you who restarted playing or are about to : do you use anything special to play this game on a modern 16/10 flatscreen monitor ?

The aspect ratio seems rather messed up on my monitor due to it being a 16/10 one and not an old fashioned 4/3 crt

Any chance of including some sort of aspect ratio fixer/higher resolution patch/fix
Let's not pollute this thread with a discussion like that. I continued in a more relevant place here: http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=462639

Same problem, in fact I just registered to report it. I had the presence of mind to take a screenshot of the error, but it seems to be reproducible every time. I can shoot Sulik or other friendlies with the gun with no crash, but try and shoot a member of Tyler's gang and it's over.

Ok, it seems there are issues with the ammo mod and FO1 gun sounds which comes as extras in the expansion. I suggest for those having odd crashes while in combat or really odd crashes in general to uninstall the expansion (use the uninstaller from the FO folder) and reinstall without those two extras. Don't worry your save games will remain and work just fine after reinstalling the expansion. A new installer is up which has these two extras removed.

For all the other issues mentioned, I shall look into them.

And for those who keep asking, this expansion includes my unofficial patch and it is safe to install this mod on top of it.

Yes, there is. If you already did somes quests, try talking to the same people again.
highlight below this to read the answer.

Once you did the weapons quest, wait a few days (ie sleep or leave the village and do something else) and then talk with the guy again.

First crash: when throwing a knife in the Toxic caves. Playing as female, all mods.

There are always weird slowdown issues (on the world map and on every other screen-fadein/fadeout); I'll see if they disappear if I uninstall the mods and/or the Expansion.
