Can anyone with the Klamath Canyon problem kindly post here if the problem with his game was fixed with the art_cache_size? I have some doubts about that problem getting fixed in this way, however i need someones confirmation, and a savegame or maybe even his/her FO2 version if the crash still occurs.

Help me help you people, just one person with the canyon crash is needed.

Elevator seems to work... tried it some times... so this may really be the cause.
It can either work, or not. There are no other options.
 
i have problem whit game crash when i try to live ncr, or go out to bassar there,

first time it went good, and i killled does guys that held slave,
and talked whit "junk" man that where going to fix car,

then i went back to ncr and got mission to go fix vault 15, now i cant get out of ncr game chrash every time i try,

need some help..

I wouldn't be surprised if this is all that needs to be altered. I'm gonna install the restoration mod, change the value of art_cache_size and try out EPA right away.

Have anyone been to EPA, using the latest expansion patch?
I seem to suffer a very weird freeze about 10seconds after entering the EPA's underground level. I've already located the source of the problem, but my question is - is anyone experiencing a "error divided by zero" or freezes while in the main EPA building (with the red green levels and such)

The two bugs I found so far are:
1.) Even though I rescued the hunting party member from the cave in Primitive Tribe, and even got the exp reward etc... it still won't cross off my pipboy list. -Update: Ok looks like I need to heal his leg first, I'll try that next.
2.) Killed all the plants outside of the EPA before actually getting the quest from the hologram. It appears that as a result, he says I still haven't completed it. I also killed the plants with the plant spray if that's a factor.
3.)Day/Night cycles once inside the EPA facility (assuming you fix the lights). In other words....even though the lights should be on no matter what time of the day, they will be off at midnight. (This is actually semi-realistic though if you think about some buildings today and how they go into power-save mode at night lol)
 
i installed the game with the installer and tried it out, im in the den, but cant find the new area, where is it? Could the installer have missed something?
I also installed the follower armor mod, whatever itis called.. That shows what armor your followers have.

The game version says i have 1.02 22

Sounds like you used the patch installer and not the expansion installer. The patch is the one from my signature and the expansion is the one from the first page of this thread. Also, no separate armor mod is needed as it is included in the expansion.
 
oh, damn. now i haveto restart again 8P
Should i reinstall the whole game, or can your expansion be installed for the 1.02.22 version?

Could you tell me what link is the one to the expansion?

i get a ton of encounters, even though i downloaded the "Encounter rate fix/melee knockback fix/other engine glitches fix", for vista, since i have vista. It's pretty much unplayable, i would get atleast 10-20 encounters when walking between the den and vault city.

Actually the same thing happened to me too! But I found out after I fixed the reactor at Gecko... :? Could you please change your singnature or something? I don't really care - I already know. But think of the children, oh why doesn't anybody think of the children (simpsons quote)!

Well, my signature does say unofficial patch. My expansion isn't a patch, tis a mod. Anyway, I will be updating my signature sometime soon so no worries.

Edit the ddraw.ini file. Look for something called: WorldMapEncounterRate. If you want to increase/decrease movement speed when on the world map then edit WorldMapFPS. There are instructions in the file telling what values to set.
 
would chaning the move speed make the distance/time ratio diffirent? Or does it simply speed both up?

Is there any way to speed up combat? The big fights get kinda boring..

If you look at the top right in the game's options->preferences screen, you will find a slider which controls combat speed (and a button to check if you want you characters speed to be altered, as well).
 
Hi All!

Killap & the rest :), I have a question, because I'm not sure enough from what I could find in the forums. Does F2RP1.1 work with other than english language versions? Can some text be left english after installing it over polish F2?

I hope You guys can explain it to me.

Since the only difference are the .msg files, sure, it can be used, but you're going to end with an ungodly chimera of a game, part English, part Polish, all... weird.
 
i cant seem to find the village that is supposed to be outstide vault city, where is it?
