Any chance to team up with killap Nevill?

Maybe you could set up an SVN repository and work on the fixes together? SVN with anonymous checkout for users would be great if anyone would like to test bleeding edge fixes; what do you think about it?

11) Lynette promised to grant me Citizenship if I solve the problem with the reactor, but never did. While not a bug per se (and this is how it should be according to the Per's Guide), I find it somewhat illogical.

Lynette promises to give you citizenship if you take care of it not if you solve it. I'm assuming you said you fixed the reactor instead of being vague ...

This was in the original FO - Lynette just wants the ghouls dead so there is not point in telling her you've helped them - talk to one of the other more sane council members about it!

That could be a good idea.

Killap if you want to do this but don't have a svn server I can donate the use of mine. I also have trac running on my server so you could have a ticket system for bug reports and other features.

Send me a PM if interested and i'll provide my email address and a link to an example of trac if your not familiar with it

That would be really appreciated darkbeholder :-) We're using trac in our own project as well and it would surely ease keeping track (no pun intented) of any bugs.

One might argue that this is a "good" thing, and doesn't necessarily contradict the gecko endings you listed per se.

Talking politics for a moment...
Ultimately, Lynette's prejudice of mutants, or even non-citizens for that matter would have been a negative influence and the possible downfall of the surrounding waste land communities (civil or otherwise, death claws for example). Throughout the game I tend to support the NCR and their interests. They may not be perfect but compare them to New Reno...Redding...Vault City etc., and besides, how could you not support Tandi after saving her in Fo1?

We should probably be talking about this one
in the gameplay thread, but .... i remember
figuring this was the evil way to solve the
power-plant problem and get citizenship.
So i went to gecko and slaughtered every
ghoul (and i mean every one - im very methodical)
went back to lynette to no response at all.

This is of course the first thing I did as well, hehe. This was back in 1.0 I did this though, stinks that you still got the same response.

Sorry if my first post has already been answered somewhere else. I checked the first 6 pages of this thread, as well as the last 2, without finding anything. Someone had a good idea that the first post should have a list of what is known and what is fixed, but that hasn't happened it seems.

My problem is with the Rat quest in Klamath. I read the sign about the Rat problem when arriving in town. Slim will talk about rats, but I never get the option of "I could take care of the rat problem" (or whatever it exactly is).

I thought this might happen after finding the door is locked and asking him about it, but nothing. I stole the key from him and got in anyway, but the quest is not listed in Pip-Boy at all. I also reloaded a save and got the key from the dog, tried talking to everyone else. No one puts the quest on my list.

If you have the key already, you won't be able to get the dialog option needed to get the "Kill the Rat God" quest. If you got the key from the dog, just drop it and it should work (did for me). If you steal Slim's key you might have to "give" it back to him first.
Edit: You don't have to give back the key to Slim Picket, it's enough to drop it as well.

Thanks Darek.

After killing the Rat God, I got the experience and the quest suddenly showed up in Pip-Boy. I see now this should have gone in the gameplay thread, but I never had that happen before and thought it might be something particular to this mod.

I seem to be having a problem in the tribal village. The tribal that asks for 5 spears and 10 knives simply won't recognize that I have them and give a option to hand them over in when talking to him.

As of this moment I have 3 sharpened spears, 9 normal spears, and 12 normal knives. Any help would be great.

My only suggestion would be to drop all items, talk to him again, then pick up ONLY 10 normal knifes and 5 normal spears, then talk to him again. Other than that it sounds bugged, and I would check for the integrity of the installation.

I never know which thread gets what .. but I think bugs go here?

I have two issues cropping up, one is a bug, the other just an oversight maybe? I am running the expansion on a fresh game install with expansion loaded on.

Issue 1:
Vault City, Level 2 of the Vault

There are two doors that you need strength to open. My character has a strength of 5, which is too low (obviously) so I use some buffout and my strength goes to 7. Still to low (which I knew it would be). So I use the backpack on the door and select the crowbar from the inventory list.

I get a message that says using the crowbar you manage to open the door .... only the door doesn't open. What's more, if you try and open it again with the hand icon or use the crowbar on it you get the message float that the door is stuck OPEN and can't be closed. But the door graphic is still closed and you can't enter the room. This happened on both strength doors.

I then loaded the save game I had just before I did it and tries multiple times and got the same bug every time. I then tried an experiment and used a character editor and bumped my strength to 9 and then just tried the hand icon on the door. The door opened just fine.

I've done the crowbar/buffout trick before in the unpatched/un-expanded game and it always worked before (which is the only reason I even knew something was up)

Issue 2:
Rescuing Sulik's Sister
The Slave Camp

I have two issues here, come to think of it ...

Issue 2a:
Talking to the Sister

I found the dialog options when talking to the sister very confusing. I wasn't sure by talking to her what I was really asking her to do. I thought I was telling them to wait while I checked the other cage but then they all ran out anyway except her. I don't know .. I just found the written dialog confusing. Not really a bug.

Issue 2b:
Leaving the car behind

When you go to tell the sister you're ready to leave the camp, the game automatically takes you back to the Primitive village, but it leaves the car at the slave camp map. This, of course, forces you to WALK back to your car. Can we get that fixed so that the car also makes the trip with you? It seems stupid that I'm leaving the only working car in the wasteland behind. It's not like she's going to puke in the car on the way back .... is she?

I just tested it and get the same bug as you.

It's been mentioned before, still a good point though.

cheers

If I'm correct is 5 sharpened spears and not normal spears...

No, it's 5 normal spears and 10 knives.

The correct answer is in \data\Text\English\Dialog\tribec1.msg -->
Code:
{230}{}{Well, our warriors are stretched very thin at the moment. Our tribe has suffered a lot in the past few years from deaths and very few births. What with defending the tribe from other tribes and hunting for food, our stock of weapons has been almost destroyed. I need perhaps, ten normal knives and five spears. Regular or sharpened spears are fine. Could you collect these for me?}
or
Code:
{255}{}{Our tribe needs 10 knives and 5 spears. The spears can either be sharpened or unsharpened, it doesn't matter too much for our situation. I'm sure in your travels you will come across these items.}

So normal or sharpened spears :P

very awesome mod. Thanks for all the work it took to get this together.

I have now beaten the game with the mod and I just have one question.

Was the Fallout 2 Handbook broken? It doesn't seem to work like it used to. Any easy way to fix it?
