It Wandered In From the Wastes
I can wait one more year for a more flawless release and play fallout 2 with killap s patch without old r p s.
It seems likely that the M60 and Bozar have had their firing sounds inadvertently exchanged. The M60, which has a "blam" sound in the game, is of course a machine gun, while the Bozar, which has a "rotating barrels" sound like a Gatling, is a kind of sniper rifle according to the description and picture and uses accurate .223 FMJ ammo.

If the Bear Dude wants to make Fallout work like it should have from the very beginning, he should consider fixing the Bozar then, shouldn't he?

The RP installer looks for the fallout2.exe file. So install in the directory that contains the exe.Ranzoid said:Help, i can't get the Restoration to even install, it keeps on asking to be in stalled in the f2 installation directory, well i've tried to install it in ever file, Data, Save Games, etc, and it refuse to be in stalled.
The Fallout Trilogy shouldn't make a difference. People have installed my mod with that set.Ranzoid said:Is it just incompatible with the Fallout Trilogy set? or do i have to use a separate fallout 2 game disk
Yes, I've installed the mod without any problems, here.killap said:The Fallout Trilogy shouldn't make a difference. People have installed my mod with that set.

Go to your start menu.
Click Run (this assumes you are running Win XP or below. If you are using Vista or above then click inside the Start Search box)
Type: regedit
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
From here I am not sure the directory that you will want to look for. I'll assume that it is Interplay. Once inside the Interplay directory, go as deep as you can. For example, for me I have Interplay/Fallout2/1.02d
Please tell me the names of the folders that you have to go through to get to the end.
The above will help me continue to make my installer as easy to use as possible.
Nope. This has been brought up many times though. I don't modify weapons. The only reason I changed the bozar sound was because of the comment made by Per in his guide.Makenshi said:Not a single word about the bozar business, Bear Dude? C'mon!
I've experienced this myself. Quite annoying indeed. It is a hardware/OS issue. I've also noticed that if you have winamp open this will happen. The issue usually goes away if I exit the game, wait a few seconds, and start it back up.FallMan said:ANYONE HELP with fade in/out problem (i described it in my previous post) - is it a hardware problem? Or XP problem? Killap, need help please - it is really an annoying thing.
Thanks for testing this. I actually requested that info in several threads and you're the only one to respond after all this time. Thanks Interesting that it is actually the same location as the original (unpatched!) version of Fallout 2.Drelm287 said:I am not Ranzoid, but maybe I can help?

So, since Killap "makes Fallout WORK like it should have from the very beginning", I doubt he will change GAME RULES. This work for weapon modders not for engine fixers.
Most definitely.isfet said:I've just been admiring X'ils awesome new critters and I have to ask... Will we see some of them in the new RP?
