I can't wait to see the day where the bald dude mod will become available.

Awesome RP games in perspective.

I am not Ranzoid, but maybe I can help?
Thanks for testing this. I actually requested that info in several threads and you're the only one to respond after all this time. Thanks :)
You are welcome :)

Interesting that it is actually the same location as the original (unpatched!) version of Fallout 2.
The DVD installer install Fallout 2 without patches, the patches are in a folder named "Bonus" in the DVD. Here, a image.

Ah, okay. This is the release that includes my unofficial patch, right? It still bewilders me that they did that without saying anything...

It's kind of weird to include an unofficial patch in an official release at all, isn't it? Did you approach the publisher?

To be fair, Fallout 2 is pretty damn hard to play without Killap's Unofficial Bug Fix Patch, and think about how hard it would be for a Fallout 3 newb to buy Trilogy and try Fallout 2. It's all about the sales in the end.

Not really. We all played it for years before killap came along.

The bugs made it what it was! :D

To be fair, they should have asked killap to include it out of curtosy but probably thought "why should we?"

I didn't played Fallout 2 yet with the unofficial patch. Never noticed much problems while playing.

I noticed errors and bugs - but nothing that ever really stopped me playing it.

My main problem was playing it on an old computer that really couldn't handle it. For every hour of play I got around 2 crashes.

What about the problem with reading holodiscs that made interface elements disappear. Is this still an issue in the new release?

The "too many items bug", which should really be called the "too many items with scripts attached to them bug" is no longer an issue in the upcoming unofficial patch and RP.

Many bugs plagued me when I played through the vanilla game. You just had to be lucky to not encounter them.

No kidding. They're within their rights, I suppose, but it's pretty obnoxious to let you find out from posters on a message board.

It's not like it's hard to drop you an email.

Are you serious? :o Here shows v1.02d (image), and I couldn't find your rock in the start of the game.

Well my patch was definitely packaged in some recent release and I do believe it was the Trilogy pack. The news section here had a thread about this. What's done is done though. I've moved on.

RP Progress:

Work on the sub is shaping up. All map work should hopefully be done. Some scripting still needs to be completed, but that should hopefully take no more than a week. After that final cleanup and then this baby should finally be ready for release!

as a big fan of fallout 2, it's always good to know that new mods are made and released. but with this mod, End boss always take damage only 5 point by all means(My Chosen one's Level is 21 and use only Big guns. But Bozar,Vindicator Minigun even Unarmed Attack...everything looks ineffective), so I always lose. Is that a bug or intended thing in orginal game?should I gain perk like sniper or use energy weapon or any weapon using Armor Piercing Bullet?

@ hanarokv

I believe that has something to do with the optional weapon mod in the RP installer. If I remember correctly...

Great to hear that the next RP release is coming out!
I will be away until early february. Wound be awesome if it was out by then. Although my better half will not agree... 8-)

I`ve noticed same bug in RP 1.2, but YK Pulse Rifle isn`t affected - probably this bug is included in AP ammo mod.
