The DVD installer install Fallout 2 without patches, the patches are in a folder named "Bonus" in the DVD. Here, a image.killap said:Interesting that it is actually the same location as the original (unpatched!) version of Fallout 2.
Ah, okay. This is the release that includes my unofficial patch, right? It still bewilders me that they did that without saying anything...Drelm287 said:The DVD installer install Fallout 2 without patches, the patches are in a folder named "Bonus" in the DVD. Here, a image.
To be fair, Fallout 2 is pretty damn hard to play without Killap's Unofficial Bug Fix Patch, and think about how hard it would be for a Fallout 3 newb to buy Trilogy and try Fallout 2. It's all about the sales in the end.Buxbaum666 said:It's kind of weird to include an unofficial patch in an official release at all, isn't it? Did you approach the publisher?

I didn't played Fallout 2 yet with the unofficial patch. Never noticed much problems while playing.
The "too many items bug", which should really be called the "too many items with scripts attached to them bug" is no longer an issue in the upcoming unofficial patch and RP.SPC said:What about the problem with reading holodiscs that made interface elements disappear. Is this still an issue in the new release?

Well my patch was definitely packaged in some recent release and I do believe it was the Trilogy pack. The news section here had a thread about this. What's done is done though. I've moved on.Drelm287 said:Are you serious? Here shows v1.02d (image), and I couldn't find your rock in the start of the game.

I`ve noticed same bug in RP 1.2, but YK Pulse Rifle isn`t affected - probably this bug is included in AP ammo mod.hanarokv said:.. with this mod, End boss always take damage only 5 point by all means
