I got my self a Fallout triology dvd. Now every time I run F2 I get an eRegitration notification before the game starts. Any idea how to get rid of it...? I did not register I always klick "later".

The eRegistration is located in one of the main folders of the game. Delete it and this will never bother you again.

Theres also a way to turn it of by first pressing the register button and then when comes the registration form, not registering. If I remember correctly it ask if you want to turn off the registerin notification.

By the way, did anyone ever register to that? Does anyone know what it does? Is it just advertisements that you get from that?

I think there is no point of registering since company is more or less dead.

Anyway I think one of my fallout 2 installation (got like 3 different :P ) instead of shortcut that starts game created shortcut that runs registration application first (which run game after closing it) so check your shortcut, maybe you need just new/proper shortcut

Could you keep that stuff out of this thread, please?

Haha, funny. Your signature alone could make up for three of these posts you're talking about.
Haha, funny. Please explain to me how my signature adds totally unrelated off-topic posts concerning stuff that has already been asked and answered several times to a thread that many people are watching in anticipation of updates.

I have a bit of a problem. My character has 10 charisma (with the module, gifted trait and shades) and I have the magnetic personality perk, but I can have only 5 followers, why is that happening? P. S. I am playing with RP 1.2.

Because you can't have more than 5 NPCs (except under special circumstances). If your charisma is 10 the magnetic personality perk will lose it's effect (in fact you can't even chose that perk when you have a charisma of 10). So you have basically wasted a perk.

But when I played the unpatched game, I think I had 6 followers, plus on the perk it says " ..but beware: more than five is always a crowd", that would mean that you can go beyond five followers.

I always thought that it means you can not have more than five NPCs.

I'm not sure, I think I had 6 followers when I played last time, but that was few years ago. According to pure logic, from the perk's description, it means you can have 6, but it will be a burden.

That means it is possible to go over the limit with certain NPCs, and also in the unpatched game there are bugs to exploit to go over the party limit.

No. What it means is that more than 5 is a crowd. And since the NPCs don't want to be crowded, they won't join you.

Each 2 points of charisma gives you +1 follower. 5 is the max number of followers. As simple as that.

...If your charisma is below 10, anyway. 5 be the max followers period.

...Unless you get Miria or Davin, in which case you can have 6, but barring more mods, you won't be able to get rid of them and if you want to keep 6 members in the party you're stuck with your current party.

@killap: any chance to *fix* change-game-difficulty abusing ?

I found that raising game difficulty to HARD (-10% to stats) give you chance to bypass the skill limits (learning books, using 2 skill points for skills above 100%), so that you still can learn books and pay 1 skill point
Easy: +20%, Normal: 0%, Hard: -10%

Example:

Normal Difficulty
Skill: Science: 100%
Cannot use Big Science Book, 2 skill point per +1% Science

Hard Difficulty
Skill: Science: 90%
Can use Big Science Book, 1 skill point per +1% Science
