Glad to see it's not a bug :)

"Hey Kaga, I think I hear the elder calling me... she needs... something. I'll be right back, ok? Take care now. By the way, your shoelaces are untied. BYE!"

Is there something else that was cut out of the game and isn't restored yet?
I mean is there going to be any big update in the future?

Not content-wise. There will be a big stability update sometime in the next month. This will probably be the last update, unless any major issues crop up.

hmm that's a shame.
But what about renegade brotherhood soldier?
I know there's just too little info on that guy but at least you would have a free hand if you know what I mean.
Or you could try to do the same thing for F1.

I really enjoyed previous RP patch, thanks a lot for your great work Killap
This is why i want always more and more content
No content-wise arggggh.
So much good things in the scenery stuff, new animation and talking head topic.

I think there will be a few new surprises for the people...small improvements, so small some people might not even notice their presence. :P

Killap will there be time to implement Mr. Black Dude, and Miss Red Head when they are finally finished in the year 2015.

Stability update? I mean, the game runs just fine for me...

Could u elaborate just a bit more on that stability update - what exactly is it gonna address?

There's still some bugs to be fixed, there is a list on falloutmods wiki.
Ah looking forward to new scenery art from .Pixote.

By content I meant new quests, NPCs, etc. There will be new scenery/graphic stuff in the upcoming update.

I'll make a release for that!

No new scenery sorry (if I recall correctly)...it's critters this time.

EDIT - I just checked - about 100 new scenery pieces, but its more a reworking of some older pieces, it's a more subtle change, nothing too over the top. It will be present in just one small location, so don't get too excited.

Fallout surely can use new critters so i'm still looking forward to it, like I said in the other topic :D

EDIT : Killap are you planning on bringing the New Arroyo after the ending?

Ok, i take that back.

I just took the Village quest (3rd in line from Sgt. Stark in Vault city) and - i lost Cassidy when transiting from Vault City map to Courtyard. Any way to get him back? He's not at his bar...

EDIT: Just tried recruiting another NPC instead of Cassidy and it works (3 is my limit, Cass was No 3). So he pretty much disappeared?

Here is the savegame http://rapidshare.com/files/455585049/Qsave.rar

Never heard this one before.

This could only happen if Cassidy is set to wait somewhere or he was completely removed from your party (told to leave, got mad, etc).

I'd say load up a save game before this happened and see if you can reproduce it.

Honestly, Ill just start all over :D Im just like that, i like to have a continuing experience (u got no idea how many characters died be4 i "succeeded" with this one).

Keep ur toes crossed it doesnt happen again :D

Btw, when's that new "stability-improved" version supposed to come out?

Jan. 2011 (Yes, this past January). That was the last date estimate that Killap gave. On March 30 he said, "in the next month." Keep your fingers crossed on that. Giving release estimates is problematic for this endeavor. Unfortunately for us, Killap has a day job. He squashes RP bugs when he can make the time. Given the high quality of his previous work, we should praise him :notworthy: and be patient with him. If you look at the bug list on the Wiki http://falloutmods.wikia.com/wiki/Restoration_Project_bug_reports you can track his progress. He seems to be approaching the finish line! The new update will be out when he releases it, and I'm looking forward to it. I've never played the RP. It doesn't run on a Mac and I just recently finished building a PC. I've been holding off loading the RP until this update. It will be well worth the wait!

I can wait, really I can! :aiee:

Why does everybody think that asking when something is automatically means ur rushing them?

I've played RP since 1.1 and THAT was a long time ago.

I just wanna know IF he knows when it might be. He might say "should be out next week" and then Ill wait for it before going for another playthrough. A simple "no" is also an answer. I never ever told anybody "OK, speed it up please". If he decides he'll never ever work on RP again and that means next RP will never come out - fine by me.

Things come when they come and thats that.

P.S. I have to say kudos to Killap & everybody else who contributed. RP & FoDD (for HoI 2) r the 2 BEST mods based on Fallout Universe I have found & played,

I have no good answer to the "when" question. Like I said in previous posts, I have little motivation to code on the weekends when I've spent all week coding. I do get random spurts of energy to mod though, and when that happens I tick off more items on the bug list.

Will it be done in a week? No. Will it be done in a month? Maybe. Will it be done this year? I sure hope so.

That's good enough for me :D , like people say: better "late" than never.

With the RP, there is no "late". We'll get it when it's released. Then we'll praise Killap (more) and forget all about the wait.

:aiee: I can wait, honest! :wall:
