Why no mongoloids?

I say that because it is a fun word to say.

I believe the scientific classification would be Negroid? I'm not sure might have to get back to you on that one.

Is there such a thing as Persian American? Indo-Turk American? It will always sound stupid.

Some people are black, white, olive, Green with tentacles....but maybe I said to much.

That's BLUE with tentacles!!
Mind you <s>manor</s> manners, would you!

Well if there's a asian looking guy he would get his ass kicked right at megaton, people would go: "Hey that's a chinese! Get the fucker who bomb the shit out of us 200 years ago!".
Thats it, at least a charisma penalty should be applied, i would so play a asian if they had implemented that kind of stuff.
People are too sensitive about this, if there is no connotation or malice in the use of the words, in my book there's nothing wrong.
Of course there are some words that were used so much by racists and slave traders (yes the N-Bomb), that no matter what it's always negative.

Lady Killer certainly isn't chauvinist, though. It's misogynist. Don't mix up your feminist propaganda keywords, Mrs.

It's not that either, though, because, as Pete pointed out, it's balanced with an misandrist perk. That doesn't make it less offensive, but at least you can be a sexist psycho-killer no matter what sex you are.

It's not PC unless there's an option to be homo- or bi-sexual, though.
I don't get the hub-bub about Lady Killer, I always thought that it was doubling meaning pun, he's a lady killer (he swoons the ladies) and he's a lady killer (he kills ladies). Methinks the journalist is just an idiot or that the perk doesn't translate well.

I really really wonder what happens when you change your skin tone after you leave the vault. You grew up with your father being white and right before you leave the vault you change your skin color to black and at the end of the game when you find your father, he is now black.

What a mind fuck that would be.

Wasn't there some gag about that in South Park, undergoing surgery to become a black man?
That's in Tropic Thunder (awesome movie by the way).

Dictionary definitions don't work like that. There is no definite dictionary, so you have to check more than one if you can and see what they have in common.

That is what I am saying, I've looked at several dictionaries and they all have the inferior/superior race(s) definition in common, or at least explain racism as including a dislike of certain races. I've never seen racism explained as anything other than involving negative views towards certain race(s).
English has no central regulating body so dictionaries are simply collections of common uses and misuses of words. That said, there are still uses of words and words themselves in the dictionary which are considered incorrect by academia.

I can grant you that brother none. I can also grant you that it wasn't necessary to use the term.

But I can also defend its use, being that the game takes place in america there is no great wrong in using the regionalized terminology of the region the game takes place in.
I think the real issue is inconsistant language, if they would have added american after all of the "races" (with the exception of caucasian, those are all misnomers or race is a misnomers and caucasian doesn't belong on the list). Using correct terminology can be a pain but the least they should do is be consistant.

It was also in South Park. In "Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina" Kyle undergoes a negroplasty to become a tall black man.
