Now thats just wrong... Dude you are sick... Fucking racist... My first 7 posts and I am already pissoff this forum....

Don't be silly. That's a joke picture, not racist in any way. It doesn't promote anything racist whatsoever. Yes, that's a modified SS poster. So? He's not telling you to join the SS or using the SS as a *positive* thing, now is he?

Chill dude! :? No one's on your head or something. :P

:EDIT:

Hum, I have a doubt. Who does the translation? Is it 1C or bethesda? I mean, localizations of Oblivion were very weak as far as I know...

Wow....heh, I haven't seen a newbie slaughter like this since the first time I tried to play Starcraft on Battle.net. :P

Anyway, back on topic, to answer your question Eko:

Amm... Will 1c release Eng. or Rus. version of F3?
I`m very curios about this thing....

1c will apparently be localizing Fallout 3 in Russian as per the press release.

Well from my experience, there are lots of online game stores that will sell you versions from other regions, especially PC games. I don't know what will work best in your area, but a quick internet search should help you out. :)

If not, there's always eBay.

lots of Fallout fans in Romania - i doubt i will buy a localized version and more likely will be looking for an english version but i would love to see one just for a laugh or two

... i also doubt any oldschool fallout fans could actually make themselves take such a version seriously (alltho i doubt there will be one with romanian dubbed voices .. it would be hilarious)

... i for one dont like the ideea of localization .. but thats just me .. i'm more of a subtitle fan - but this is more connected to movies :)
i'd rather see a french movie in french with subtitles .. then the same thing dubbed well in english or what have you :)

my 2c

Have you tried amazon.co.uk ?? I think you can get the Fallout collection from there (still).
I also think that amazon.co.uk ships to all countries within the EU...

As for the modified SS-poster, I thought that was little overdone, given Latvia's past history...

But Eko, please use the spell checker. I know of at least one other poster who got their marks up in English :) by reading, writing and commenting on NMA...

So, yes, you can get an education while learning about Fallout two. It's like the two
for one deal you sometimes get in ther supermarket.

As far as Amazon.co.uk, they themselves will only ship Video Games to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Although merchants on Amazon.co.uk can deliver to those countries listed above, as well as Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Ehm, yeah, because the guy who posted the picture doesn't live in a country that suffered under Nazi rule. No sirree.

So much for the 'localisation for the Baltic states', I guess, but that's reasonable - we don't have much of a market here.
By the way, has anyone tried the Russian version of F2? Does it have voice acting? because that could be some fun (and not necessarily funny, I remember enjoying a voiced Russian Grim Fandango pretty much)

Yes, but unlike Poland (mostly), Latvia did to a large extent cooperate with the Nazis.

At least thats what I think aries369 was referring to.

Not to mention, brick-and-mortar stores that sell region 1 games/DVDs/etc. You just gotta know where to look. I almost always prefer stuff in its original language.

Anyway, boo-hoo, a modified SS poster. Get over yourself already, it was funny. I was going to post the Edumaction pic, but I was beaten to it....

come on

it's the internets

everyone pisses on your head there, just because: THEY CAN
but i didn't see anyone really pissing on your head here.. they are maybe a bit rude, but you just shouldn't take that too serious... in internet everyone is a bit more directly and you know.. just dont take it serious, NMA is the best site for Fallout stuff, they are hardcore fans and therefore a bit.. (sarcastic, evil, rude, cynical, totally pessimistic, mainstream hating,in some terms console hating..) but that's just how you would be after years of waiting for a Fallout 3 and then getting a pile of shit which is oblivion with guns claiming to be Fallout... and also there was Fallout BiS before that, and tictacs which was at least "okay" (for me)..

damn, i m tired :tired:

As for the Enclave, in the IGN preview there's this bit:

While that's already a tremendous amount of information to digest all at once, Bethesda will have plenty more to say about Fallout 3 in the coming months. We're still very curious to find out more about how the melee system works, how the Enclave fits into the overall story, and what this mysterious "Corpses eaten" stat is all about.

Either IGN and 1c just made up the Enclave thing or it's something that was mentioned by Bethesda to them.
