I felt F3 was going to be a fun game. However, like I said above, it just doesn't seem like Fallout.

I prefer exploring without so much gunplay. I actually like the visual aspect of the game if you consider the fact that the world is open, as in Oblivion, that there are no levels and hardly any loading between, it's pretty good. My biggest gripe with the game is the fact that it's called "Fallout 3".
