You grow to tolerate the Animu mods.... after you stumble upon the My Little Pony ones...
Well, if that is true, I guess that at least the intro cinematic will be good. Or it should be. In any case, will surpass FO3's intro.
or maybe an androidSo, anyone wanna bet if the player character is a prisoner/fugitive of some sort?

Sad that game cinematics/intros don't make the game though ... I mean hands down, nothing will beat the F1 and F2 intro, and yes it is nostaliga talking here.
Fingers crossed and probably later chopped off for their inaccurate hope, that this is written by obsidian or inxile writers instead of Bethesda.
Almost everyone I've talked to, even people who are diehard FO3 fans, generally agree that Obsidian wrote better dialog than Bethesda. Some say they'd be happy if Bethesda did the world building and let Obsidian write it. Of course I could have just been lucky in that I usually only talk to somewhat intelligent people.

While I'm baffled anyone could believe that, I respect their opinion. Truth be told, while FO3's style of writing might not be as highbrow as that of New Vegas, it presented some of the most atmospheric and detailed back-stories I've ever encountered in gaming. Take Zeta's audio captive recordings for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-VwVL36ltA You become almost completely engrossed in a series of back-stories you would have otherwise looked over in most games.

How can I be so interested in something I am sure I will hate on multiple levels?

I hope not. Already got enough games to work on as it is.
