So I'm kinda frustrated with Avira because they got so many false positives while I scanned my Fallout files, but, I gotta respect their turn-around time.

They finished processing the submission within a few hours and emailed me detailed reports. Here's a short excerpt regarding the file that was causing issues:

Filename Result
del.exe FALSE POSITIVE

The file 'del.exe' has been determined to be 'FALSE POSITIVE'. In particular this means that this file is not malicious but a false alarm. Detection will be removed from our virus definition file (VDF) with one of the next updates.

So those with Avira, soon this won't be an issue any more. :)
 
@verevoof For your wiki report, was the holodisk in your inventory or a party members inventory? The other report I had worked from player just not from party member.

Today I finally fixed an issue that I never could figure out before. It took something like ten hours but I got it. Sometimes being obsessive and neurotic pays off :nod: :cool:

And it's even better because it means now I can implement a small thing I'd always wanted to. Hooray!
 
Next release will come out "soon", maybe within a week or two. Besides the usual fixing of crashes and such, this should introduce some features that were supposed to make it into 6.7.2, and also I've updated the Troubleshooting Guide. It even tells you to yell at me for breaking the game if you get a crash, so hopefully that should be cathartic for people. :nod:

Oh also, it will include the Spanish translation by the talented and hard-working Luffier.

Thanks again Sduibek for all the hard work you are putting into this. You are a tremendous asset to this community. I check this thread from time to time and it always makes me happy to see you still committed to this (big) project to be the ultimate mega-mod for F1. I will be donating some more soon to show my appreciation. Keep at it man, I can't wait for the day of beta/final release. I will probably give F1 with your mod another whirl in the next month or two and will report any problems I find.
 
Ok i've found some overweight bugs. I can't feel any being overweight consequences I can run like a f***i' champ, I can trade with traders carring three times more than I can lift it (i havent information that i can't carry anything moore).
Second bug what i've found is the issue of addiction. reduced statistics are not marked in red. But it's vey small bug.
 
Hey Sduibek found one bug myself too..
it appears that rad-resistance perk description claims it gives 10% resistance per level however the actual perk gives 15% resistance per level. no point in a hurry though not that anyone is using that perk anyways.. I myself noticed it only because i was playing full cheater character this time and was putting in all perks via vad's editor "pick a perk window" function, and noticed it by accident.

Hmmm, I hadn't thought about the overweight issues in a while. Honestly I don't know if it's fixable without using Sfall in the Fallout2 engine, but I'll see what I can do. Red stats for addiction definitely couldn't be fixed without Fallout2 engine.

Don't know if this has already been mentioned but I get a "memory at" error after showing Jon Zimmerman the holodisk. Anyway to fix this?

Likely no way to fix until I release the next version unfortunately. Make sure the item is in your inventory, then if that doesn't help try dropping the item first.

I might be able to release a patch tomorrow for all the holodisk issues.

Interesting, I just discovered that when you load a map via script - "load_map(MAP#)" - the game usually adds a week to the in-game time. A whole week. But it doesn't deduct that much time from the timers for invasions and such, those only go down by about a day.

This means that going to Irwin's Farm and back, increases the clock by two weeks.....

I already knew there was a discrepancy between these, but I didn't realize it was something as simple as "load map, add week." Luckily the game time can be rolled back, so eventually I can prevent all those ridiculous increases of gametime.

For @verevoof @Overseer and others getting the crash turning the disk into Cabbot for the Brotherhood of Steel, please put these in {Fallout Fixt}\DATA\SCRIPTS and say Yes to overwrite, then try again giving it to Cabbot. If possible, please test with a savegame that already found the disk, and one that hadn't gotten the disk yet.

hi, I downloaded this and it completed with no error, added loads of stuff to my fallout folder, but when I actually launch fallout nothing has changed whatsoever, what did I do wrong??? please help. P.S. I,m not computer savvy in any way or form.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

- Please define "loads of stuff" - could you provide a screenshot of your Fallout folder? In Windows you press PrintScreen button (usually Function+End on laptops) and then open Paint.exe (Start -> type in Paint -> hit Enter) and then paste it (Ctrl+V). Then save the file (Ctrl+S), do you know how to upload it to any websites? If not, I'll give you my email address.

- Please define "nothing has changed" - if you click Credits in the game, does it start the credits with "= FALLOUT FIXT ="? It should. If not, something definitely didn't go correctly. Also it should mention TeamX and Fallout Fixt by Sduibek in the bottom-right of the main menu. Lastly, if you begin a new game and hover the mouse over your character and then Left-click, it should give you a message "You look at yourself for a while. Do you like what you see?"

Hi!

First of all I would like to thank you for your great mod!

But I have the same issue described here, the crash while giving holodisk to Cabbot. I tried to update the scripts, but unfortunately I'm still getting the crash :?

Tried the save with holodisk already in my inventory. Didn't try save before taking the holodisk yet.

Can you please help me or I have to go through the Glow again?

@tnovak Bummer :( Thanks for trying though and thank you for the save. I'll get this sorted out.

If I can fix it, you should be able to just continue from that save, instead of having to do it again.
