Hello there, I recently downloaded your latest version of Fallout: Nevada and there is a problem. Whenever the intro is over, the menu screen doesn't appear. Just a black screen with the menu music in the background. Did I do something wrong?

Mr Proleterian asked me to ask here as I am thinking of donating a few quid ££s or Roubles :) to the creators of Fallout Nevada. I mentioned Paysafe vouchers but I doubt they exist in Russia. Any ideas. I don't use banks btw as I dislike them

Fallout: Nevada
A Fallout 2 total conversion mod

Developed by: Nevada Band & BlackDesigner
Website: NMA, NBS, VK
Copyright: Bethesda Softworks LLC.

Description:

Fallout: Nevada is a fan-made prequel to the original Fallout. It's a total conversion, made using content and engine of the original game with the inclusion of scripts, story, dialogues, characters, locations and mechanics created from scratch specifically for it. Gameplay is heavily focused on quests, setting and lore of the Fallout universe, as opposed to "dumb fights". The in-game locations are made with high degree of authenticity.

The game features:
  • Brand new story
  • More than 100 quests
  • New world map - 12 major cities and tons of random encounters, including 12 special ones
  • 2,7 Mb of game text (compared to 1,7 Mb in Fallout and 3,5 in Fallout 2)
  • Original soundtrack from Nobody's Nail Machine

Attention:
The latest complete english translation is included only into Fallout: Nevada - Fixed mod.
Download the latest version here.

--Installation guide--
  • You'll need original Fallout 2 to play. Install it beforehand.
  • Run Fallout: Nevada (Fixed mod) installer. Follow the instructions.
Default installation goes into a subfolder and doesn't overwrite the original.

Why's the Crazy edition no longer supported? :(

Why's the Crazy edition no longer supported? :(
Crazy edition: Doesn't exist anymore. This version is recognized by the author as unsuccessful and has been deleted (Used for training - honing modding skills). FE\EM - have moved on and have more fixes.
Maybe, someday it will appear as an add-on for EM, but don't wait for that.

I don't know how far into the game you are but if I remember correctly the doctor in Wind of War has one. Odd ones you may come across elsewhere

Exactly! Doctor in Wind of War has one. I also found one somewhere else but can't remember where.

I don't know if you've seen it but we put a lot of Nevada stuff in this post, if you're looking for other things. There's also a walkthrough to be found here.

If I'm allowed I would like to spread the word about this event where we play the Fallout games together. You're very welcome to post your thoughts about the game there while you play.

I did that and couldn't hand it to him. The walkthrough is a bit cryptic about that:

Walkthrough said:
You need scrap metal and spare parts to fix it. You can't return a gun later.
@APAKane can you try and see if that is possible?

No, you take it and after repairing you get a normal pump action shotgun that you can use or sell.

There's no option to give Nelson a shotgun (maybe you could pickpocket and plant it on him).
