Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Nevada (extended)

in standard/ extended version they have a very nieche use in couple of repairs during some quests perhaps if any. They have much wider use in Crazy Edition where one can literally modify weapons with them ( ie. create all versions of 10mm pistol, make extended mag for assault rifle etc.). couple of quests requires them too i think. besides that they are vendor fodder..
 
That's why I am confused, I remember that I could make Savage better but thats it. Crafting should come back from Crazy do Extended.
Remaking your own ammo was great idea. I would suggest to make ammo even more scarce to make Ammo Press worth that 10000.
In my playtrough I did not bother to buy it cause ammo was plenty. Only 5mm AP was scarce

not a bug.. You've prematurely picked the honest way of getting a car, that is by paying the owner for the vehicle and for the work he had put into it.

Either load an eariler save and become a Road Pirate, or be honest earn the money and pay up..

That was the whole point. I wanted him to repair the car for me so that I could steal it.
What kind of car thief repairs a car by himself prior to stealing?

3 small locations, for "shooting" to pick up a few levels (nothing interesting). A companion dog has been added. Used as training for modding. The author of the modification acknowledged this version as "unsuccessful".

If it doesn't exist should I then delete the backup copy of it and the english translation to it that I've downloaded while it was up?!

Shame if I'd have to.. especially that I've attached the english translation to a post somewhere in the Crazy Edition's thread here on NMA...

in crazy edition burst AP has been revamped for most guns, medium changes to crafting system.. namely one can mod guns with gunparts, and also if one has certain prerequisities, one is also able to dismantle certain ammo types into ammo crafting components (kind of op with ammoer/ammo maker perk)

EDIT:
almost forgot main feature is that Grizzly PA now uses the Advanced Power Armor animation set.. FoXX argumented that since the inventory graphics is mostly black then it should use the APA animations/graphics

If the files are in place, you don't have to delete them.
Weapon assembly/disassembly - to be specific (I don't remember).
Black armor - there was, but it was discarded.

i didn't quite understood what did You had in mind. Perhaps google translate wasn't as precise about what I've wanted to say...

What I meant:
I downloaded Fallout:Nevada Crazy Editionfrom NMA's modding thread, back when it was still available. The english translation too. I don't know what do You mean by saying if "those files are in place". at what place?
Those files are on my hard drive, if those file are gone from the internet, because everybody says so, Is there an upper will to remove Crazy Edition so it becomes vapourware, or do You want me to give the files to you, so that Crazy edition could be restored?

Sorry if this Russian translation is a bit dull.. My Russian vocabulary is extremely smal,l so i used a translator and made some fixes here and there, although I'm still not quite sure if the translation is correct...
 
If the theme and the files "Nevada Crazy Edition" are available - then you do not need to delete (let it remain).
If they are not available for download (for all) - then it's time to forget about this version.
Crazy edition was a "training tool" (a training version for gaining experience). And according to Foxx has outlived itself (no longer needed\deleted).
Если тема и файлы "Nevada Crazy Edition" доступны - тогда, удалять не надо (пусть остается).
Если они не доступны для скачивания (для всех) - тогда, пора об этой версии забыть.
Crazy edition была "инструментом тренировки" (тренировочной версией для получения опыта). И по мнению Foxx-a изжила себя (больше не нужна\удалена).
 
There's no need to write to me in Russian as I medicorly understand this language/ medicorly speak it.. I wrote In Russian to You, because I Thought it might be better for You to understand, than english..

Truth is, I have no idea if Crazy Edition is available for download somewhere online, I have a copy of it, on my "offline" hard drive, folks at NMA complained about Crazy Edition link no longer working,. The question was: Should I pass the Crazy Edition copy I have in my private files along with it's translation, to You, so that You, may put it in Your Database...

It seemes however that You're no longer interested, as You've said, that Crazy Edition is considered obsolete.

In any case I still have the files, if for some strange reason You'd like to have them I can provide them to You.
 
Maybe someone can help me... I downloaded the mods, I followed the instalation but I can't seem to change the language... so I keep seeing all in russian, Is there some extra step I'm not doing?
Can you explain me how to do it like im 6 years old? (sadly I'm 35)

1. Use the version from the first post
1. Install Fallout 2 (c:\games\Fallout_2)
2. Install Nevada mod into subfolder (default) (c:\games\Fallout_2\Nevada_mod)
2.1. Select English Language
2.2. Select additional components
3. Complete the installation and play the game

I noticed my saves started to show as Russian. I had pressed scroll lock or Num lock by mistake.
 
hey guys!

Im trying to play this awesome game for the first time, but when im open the game and go to menu i see only a black screen... im try to change configs, unistall and install again but dosent work. Someone can give-me the direction to im fix this and play?
