Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Nevada (extended)

    Hey,
    I have installed Fallout_Nevada_HD [1.02] afall2 1.7.46, and I have a problem with translation patch ( after I copied it into the dialog and game folder that I found in this thread on page 49 ) , but the char creation menu and actionbar ingame were still in russian. I figured out that I should install Fallout Nevada (EN Translation)[0.11].exe first and then copy these 2017-12-17-english-pack.zip files after. And now it seems to be working but...

    I think I have mixed up somewhere I have version of the game Fallout_Nevada_HD [1.02] afall2 1.7.46 I read here that this is not the correct version. I found this links https://bt4g.com/magnet/382948c4e2f24886e81b525eb4363cb90a14c9cb where are various versions and also some fixes. Can you guys pls help me and post link to the correct and newest version of fallout nevada and tell me if I patched it properly. Thanks for the answer :) .

    I'd need some help myself with my FoN. I have the FoN and the patch and also the translation.exe, but I got my FoN AND my translation screwed up. The colors ingame are screwed and the translation also. What do I do?

    Can u help, please?

    Hi Folks!

    I registered especially for asking just this one question about Fallout Nevada :D

    Will there be a final, properly translated english version of Nevada?
    I want to play it badly but I'm (as others!) waiting to download a completely translated mod, and as what I see it still has many text lines not translated.
    Can anyone here estimate when the complete translation will come out?

    And the second question, will there ever be an english installer for Nevada? Seems that lots of people have problems putting all the files together for english version.

    Does anybody know the correct way(s) of installing Fallout of Nevada English Translation as of 1/7/18 becuase everything seems jumbled up.

    Guys, installing, latest translation, final versions and etc will be ready as soon as possible. There was a link for the mod and the translation right here on this site, but it got removed. The translation is long ago done the problem now is the editing which is being worked on, but you need the correct mod version for it to work, also the exe file of the translation is bugged so it is recommended to find the manual install pack ( Me or someone else will try to upload it when we decide what to do next, with the mod and everything).

    Damn it's so discouraging seeing so many people wanting to play the mod and finding nothing that lets them do that.

    That's it! Time to reorganize things, everything obviously got messy with the different versions and shit.
    I will dust off my old PC and will start getting the files together, will drop the link for the correct mod version too ( I don't care about legalities anymore if Beth wants to ban the mod let them send me a notification message, but I don't think that will happen since none of us took any money for the mod translation, the only bad thing that could happen is if some crazy Bethesda fanboy starts making a big deal out of it somewhere on the internet , whatever his motive is, but that's unlikely too.)
    I could drop all the files I'm 100% sure I have every dialog and pip boy files organized, but some other files could be a problem. The key is to contact our editing director Snikers, he definitely has a lot of edited files.
    We'll see tomorrow what can be done.

    I wanna play this. I play FO1 Fixt, FO 1.5 Ressurection, FO2 STALKER (Oblivion Lost) Mod... I know them all by heart.

    BUT, you know the feeling of suspense before trying out a new game ya ain't seen b4?

    A fully edited and polished version of all the text is forthcoming, but not for quite a while yet. Progress is unfortunately slow. It's probably still months away.

    Sorry for the long radio silence on my part! I wasn't able to get to NMA for a few weeks for reasons I won't go into.

    Ok I'm gathering all the files again, searching for a good place to upload correct mod version for our translation... Damn I forgot almost everything about the file structure. Will try to figure it out as soon as possible, will have to make manual install patch for the translation, might need some help with files that isn't text based. Risewild if you read this could you please extract the necessary files from our exe patch and send them to me individually, its seems I totally forgot how to do that. I will send the exe file to you if you do.

    Keyboard Gecko, we're handling everything through PMs on NMA. All of the files are translated, but what we need now are editors that can turn rough, translated English into clear, naturalized English. Are you still interested?

    Can somebody please help me? I got stuck in the misson "Persue the kidnappers of the overseer". I reached SLC Railway Depot, used the computer in the basement in order to drain the tank with water, however I cannot use the ledder. Is this basement the only way to to reach the hangar with the train?

    I had the same problem. You need to click on "top" of the ladder not the ladder itself if I remember correctly.

    I just installed crazy edition using "Fallout_Nevada_CE_3.3.exe" and applied the "2017-12-17-english-pack" translation followed by the "2_English_Translations_Fix_for_Nevada_CE_2017-12-22.rar" hotfix.

    But like Warzy for some reason the character creation naming and intro (at least) are in russian. Did i do something wrong? or have i missed something?
