Fallout: New Vegas OXM preview scans

Oh my god! What if New Vegas DO turns out a different game from what we fans love!? What if they remove VATS!?

THESE BASDARDS ARE GOING TO MAKE THE GAME NOT JUST FOR PROFIT, ALSO THEY ARE GONNA MAKE IT ISOMETRIC, REMOVE VATS, TURN-BASED; THERE WON'T BE JUST BLACK AND WHITE CHOICES, NO EPIC ASPLOSIONS, NO OBLIVION GRAPGICS, NO INTERACTABLE WORLD OBJECTS WITHOUT FUNCTION, NO BAD WRITING, AND NO PSP/XBOX VERSION, IF THEY COME THAT FAR!

THAT OBSIDIAN COMPANY SHOULD MIND THEIR OWN SEQUELS AND NOT RUIN OURS! WE WANT A REAL FALLOUT GAME AND NOT SOME 50s GAME IN WHICH INTELLIGENCE DETERMINES YOUR DIALOGUE OPTIONS! ANYWAY, WHAT DOES INTELLIGENCE HAS TO DO WITH DIALOGUE!? YOU ARE IGNORANT!
 
Hah, I wouldn't worry about it, Reconite, once something is on the interwebs, it stays on the interwebs. NMA was asked to take it down as the "source" site and DaC (for pretending to be the source site) as well, but that's usually the extent of bullywagging magazines can be bothered to do. It'll be passed on from hand to hand and forum to forum as long as people are still interested.
 
If you want to see it again, NMA wasn't the only one who hosted it. Good, that nobody cares about german Fallout community. :p

Unfortunately no, but at least I got the entertainment value of reading the responses to them.

Not sure if I should preorder FNV or wait to see how it gets received.

While I like F1 and still have to get started on F2, I'm just not sure how much interest I have in the franchise with Bethesda publishing...
 
International sites always get away with it, the magazine publisher just doesn't care enough. I can't put it on the frontpage, tho, that'd call attention it.

I've sent scans to int sites for backup purposes for exactly this reason before :P

I never really get preordering of games, unless you're 100% sure you want it.

my first post here so...

I played FO1 like it as almost no game before hehe, Currently still playing FO2. While i was digging around on views of FO3 i just decided im gona skip on that one, and pray FNW will be more tied to the first 2.

Wanted to give a try to FO3 but i dont have the time nor the will to play another half ass baked game whit boom you dead i win game. I can just go play a FSP online for that matter.


One more thing, when i got on this site i seen the "quote" and was actually thinking, am i on the right site? heh, boy i was wrong lol , nothing better then the true fan based site to call it home. :D


Guess ill see you guys around then.

Gonna disagree. Fallout 3 is admittedly not so hot when it comes to writing, and the combat is much better when rebalanced and rejiggered using a mod like FWE. But in my opinion all that means is that you don't play the vanilla version your first time out.

It's still extremely effective when it comes to setting ambiance and it's very fun to just knock around and explore. No, it's not as groundbreaking as Fallout, or as clever and cool as Fallout 2, but if you can get over the lackluster main quest and focus on its strengths it's a much better experience than, say, Fallout Tactics.

from that picture looks more like a rifle. But its really hard to tell
