Link in my signature. No need to NC-forum (there are links to the mod, have you looked at another topic).
Full English translation designed for Nevada Fixed Edition \ Fixed mod only. Actual v2.0.2.
Vanilla or Crazy edition - I do not recommend, get a number of errors. Only Fixed!
    Carapace Scorpion and blaster restored.

Repeat: it will be updated with the updated translation (by Keyboard Gesko) and new sfall-e.

I repeat, the best version and the best translation in English-Nevada Fixed Mod.
This version of mod & translation is actual (please wait... new version of translation is ready, mod will be updated).

    Version of Nevada:
    • [outdated] Early version 0.99b (Finished)
    • [outdated] Nevada 1.02 (Original, without HD)
    • [outdated] Nevada Complete mod (Original, 0.99b\1.02+, HD)
    • [outdated] Crazy Edition (training, non-canonical content)
    • Fixed Edition (Fixes, Restoration)
    • Fixed mod (Fixed, Restoration, Full adapted English translation)

    Thank you Pyran,

I downloaded the Nevada Fixed Edition from the link at your signature and I am having some issues.
After i downloaded i tried to run the hi resolution patch, it tells me it cannot locate the fallout 2 executable.
I still tried to start the game by using the Nevada HD.exe, I manage to see the intro videos but when i get to the main screen, everything is black, I can't see anything.

Could you please give any assistance with this issues, or tips on how I can solve this?

    This is normal.
    1. HRP: You can still change the resolution. Default 1280*720. If you need to disable HRP, make a copy of NevadaHD.exe and rename it to Fallout 2.exe
    2. Black screen: The installation path is incorrect - mod default installed in the subfolder i.e. ..\Fallout 2\Nevada Fixed Mod. If the mod is install to main game directory, please, reinstall mod with enable checkbox "Root directory mode"; or fix the settings manually:
open config.cfg and change the following lines

Thank you very much for your quick reply!

I think I am doing something wrong. Could you tell me what it is?

I have fallout 2 gog version installed.
I then install fallout of nevada into fallout 2 folder, so it ends up looking like ..\Fallout 2\Nevada Fixed Mod
I enabled the checkbox u mention above, still I am having the same issues.

    If I understand correctly:

    1. I use gog-version too (steam & other, they also work).
    2. run hi-res_config.exe - select dx9\dd7\basic mode (same, select 8\16bit mode).
    3. Try reinstalling the game & mod again, new clean install with subfolder mode (del. mod\game using geek uninstaller, revo or similar).
    4. In the near future (a few days), the translation will be updated to the actual version (the update is coming right now).

It works perfectly now! Thank you

Is there any website, wiki that I can read more about the story of the mod? There is a lot of different dates that the mod talks about in the beginning. I would like to know more about it.

The pc is told to go out of the vault in 2091, u have the option to try to convince the doctor to stay. But if u indeed stay you are still treated as if you left the vault?

Also between the first mission in 2091 and the second in 2140, where is the pc? Is he/she in some kind of stasis?

I know the description and the solutions in Russian lang. only...
    1. Early vers. - Stasis (freeze). v0.99b
    2. Actual vers. - You have a dream about the past. v1.02\2.0
p.s. 0.99b has an initial more logical plot. It contains several other locations that are not available in version 2.0. The plot and quests differ by 30-35%

Keyboard Gecko Fallout: Nevada translation in progress

So, I had a lot of thoughts and I think I should say something.

Despite Crazy edition considered by many (myself included) not so good attempt in upgrading the game, I just can't help to give earned credit for some genius things in it.

As I said, Gecko hunting grounds, deathclaw farm were very good. Other locations were good thematically, despite being a little poor and similar in execution - for example, the Stylin hotel does have some Idea and quest, but execution is made like this - you just go into it. read some stuff and kill everyone, including minigun ghoul in the end. As for me, it lacks some reward in the end, mystery inside, and leads to nothing. And the added raiders base location is basically the same as this hotel.

A similar thing is happened to the dog - It was a good concept, but not very good in execution. I'm not talking about the quest by obtaining the dog, despite it being so not obvious. I'm talking about the slow animations and Total! Uselesness! In battles! Which pissed off, even when I leveled the dog, like, a lot.

Anyway, there are things i miss from CE. For example, the thing I miss the most from Crazy edition in Fixed edition is the sprite of the Grizzly armor. Man, it was so good, to the point of disappointing when I assembled the armor in Fixed edition.

I'm trying to say - I had a lot of good time with additional content, despite the flaws. So, @Foxx, I am sorry for being rude or something. You did a great job, a lot of it. You should take some credit.

And that concludes my meaningless fanboy gripes.
