    I'm a team member (Master).

    We're working for 1.0 (>130 MS-Word pages in worklist, madness :) ), but I personally don't know nothing about translate.

    Maybe I can help translating.
    I am native speaker of Russian.
    But because of the emigrating to Europe when I was six. I never attended school in Russia. So I am having a real hard time reading Russian.
    But I know English very well so translating from Russian to English would not be a problem if I can get past reading Cyrillic.

    I would love to play this mod, but I need an English translation, so amxhd by all means grab the game and translate it.

    Oh, boy! Translating never ends :D

    And I thought to take a break after RP and FIXT...

    But this f-ing game, not mod anymore, is HUGE. Megabytes of original text.

    It might be faster to learn Russian than wait for translation to be done:)

    I always thought of it as an independent game based on Fallout lore and Fallout 2 assets.

    Greetings everyone!
    My name is V_guessWho and I'd like to help with translation of this mod.
    I'll try to contact the guy whom was translating this and work something out with him. Otherwise I'll just start from scratch.
    I am not making any promises, I am just sayin' that I am gonna do this.

    I'll try to keep updates on the whole thing, but I am not very found of NMA, so we'll see how that goes.
    Should be good enough for announcement I guess, see you later.

    I am a native Russian speaker and want to help with the translation.

    PS. I just dont want to do any indept stuff.
    Just plain simple text translation please. If it possible.
    I have enough trouble reading Cyrillic as it is. If reading it with code marking and such stuff I would become really difficult for me.

    Can you offer a rough estimate for 1.0(i.e. weeks, months years?), alternatively how playable is 99b?

    After new years, no sooner. If they do proper testing, I'd say expect it round February-March 2014.

    0.99b is very much playable. It is a full game, you know, not a demo. Hope you speak russian though, cause there is no english translation in existence thus far, and the mod has a ton of pretty good dialogs.

    To translate it though would be a huge undertaking even for a full blown team of diligent people (if remember correctly there is over 2Mb!! of text), so it might never come out in English.

    Many differences with 0.99b time - new maps, characters, dialogs, redesigned older content, finished soundtrack etc.

    About release date - after New Year, not before.
    Although you never can tell. In my opinion, better wait for 1.0

    Sounds good, also while I prefer an English version, translation is not a big issue in this case.

    I'm probably the only one who's actually happy this mod is Russian, it gives a lot of motivation to learn the language. Shame I cannot play it at the moment.

    Did some reading of the mod's russian forum through google translate and there's a lot of stuff changing in 1.0 including improving maps and art,new characters and dialogue.I think they are even thinking of including NPC followers too!

    My favourite was an energy pistol with similar stats to the 10mm one.My energy weapons characters could use this :P

    True the translation project is massive for just one person,but from what I've seen,there are some people willing to help but lack leadership.Someone needs to organise them and keep them motivated,divide the work into manageable chunks and assign them to the translators and of course assembly the translated chunks into the project.
    Some people might help with an entire town or with just 4-5 dialogue trees or just do some item descriptions etc etc.

    I really hope that once 1.0 is released and polished,the team behind the mod will consider playing that role.I'd like to ask our friend Master,if he can pass this request to the developers.The mod looks brilliant and there is a big english audience waiting for it.
