Fallout on IGN's Top 100 Games List for 2007

The Vault Dweller

always looking for water.
For those of you who perhaps want more recognition from game critics or proof that Fallout is indeed wonderful from people other than yourself IGN's recent "Top 100 Games List for 2007" mentions Fallout as number 33 right after Deus Ex and just before Halo.

The list itself is worth perusing as there are plenty more great games listed many quite old and obscure. Many of you may be surprised to see Planescape Torment there as number 71 also a Black Isle production.

If you have friends that refuse to play PC RPG's, but love console this list would be a great way to expose them to Fallout by pointing out the good console RPG's on the list right alongside good PC RPG's.

Link: Spot #33 of the IGN top 100: Fallout.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Majora's Mask on the 31th place....Damn True !!!

But one question : why can't i see further ?

There ain't any games after the 31th !

Khm, so Halo is better then Deus Ex, Day of the Tentacle and Fallout?

WTF much?

P.P.: And yeah, they haven't added any games past 31.

It's a matter of taste, actually.

Like when they compared Family Guy and The Simpsons based on their "Iraq is bad news, guys!" episodes and found The Simpsons to be offensive while they thought Family Guy was genius for it?

It doesn't strike me as odd that they tend to have tastes that makes me want to smash my head against a wall. What strikes me as odd is the fact that they're still around and people still care what they have to say.

Surprised as in "it made the list!" or as in "wtf only 71?" ?
I'm definately in the latter category. :?
Torment had much better scores than Fallout. Check gamerankings.com.

It is IGN.

They aren't exactly known for their intelligence...
Actually, they are better know for they're IGNorance, I'm told.

Anyway, as I said somewhere else, I think the list is fairly nice so far. Halo right in front of Fallout? That's ok for me, I didn't really expect much better. It's not like I like IGN or something, so the simple fact thay put Fallout in is a good something, maybe they aren't as bad as I'd thought. The problem is that there are still 30 games to go, and there comes games like Oblivion, KotOR and god knows what else...

I bet you 30 bottle caps that God of War will be at least in the first 20, if not higher.
