The best part in my opinion is not even in video itself, but under the description, and I quote:

"Intern John fights the Sneedclave aboard the Enclave space station with his team of rejects. What new instances of retcons and plagiarism await him? Will he confess his feelings to Grape? Who the hell is Badger? Fallout: New Vegas: The Frontier has divided fans over it's status as a masterpiece or absolute trash. In the aftermath of ZuTheSkunk, the mod is in an awkward situation. The dev team is using Zu as a scapegoat for the mod's shortcomings, but the blame can't solely be put on him. Tgspy, PROJECT LEAD of The Frontier, thinks he knows what YOU want out of Fallout. You don't know better than him, in his eyes. To quote him directly, "Fallout fans don't know what they want. What NV did was to invert what made Fallout 3 good. New Vegas is a genuinely shit game. It has decent writing, and decent characters. But everything else suffers". The team are now notoriously known to internally call the Enclave a "power fantasy for Trump Supporters", despite allowing the player to enslave a young girl, catering to scalies, and having a sex scene with a Deathclaw. While on stream, Tgspy admitted he didn't even know what references and content was in his own mod, such as the Simpson's "SNEED'S FEED AND SEED - FORMALLY CHUCK'S" joke. He also could not remember what characters, events, or quests made it into the final product. He is as incompetent as they come, standing next to the project lead of Hunt Down The Freeman, Berkan "Frank" Denizyaran. Laugh at ZuTheSkunk for his degeneracy, but blame Tgspy for his failure to produce a good mod".

Yes, it does invert everything FO3 did good. Which was... almost nothing? :roffle:

I guess he was right all along.

I'm baffled people can make these claims. If the only things New Vegas has that is not shit are characters and writing, what the fuck Fallout 3 has that it's even remotely decent? Whatever blemishes New Vegas has are inherited from Fallout 3, and everything else is done far worse in Fallout 3.

Nothing, and i mean nothing, that Fallout 3 does is any better than New Vegas. Not roleplaying, not writing, not story, not exploration, not dungeon design, not world building, not quest design, not fucking respecting the established lore, literally nothing. Not even combat, and New Vegas's combat is arguably its most terrible aspect. New Vegas did do the invert of Fallout 3, it somehow managed to make a good product out of the engine of Fallout 3.

Some people have to be playing some unique version of Fallout 3 that the overall population didn't had access to it. Because the one i played was terrible, and i thought that before i even thought of touching any other Fallout game.

The devs of this mod being fanboys of Fallout 3 make all the sense now given the quality of the mod.

So most of the people who worked on this mod were bethesdatards, no wonder why the "crusaders" are basically a religious version of the fallout 3 BOS while the 2 other factions are fallout 4 levels of retardism.

i was calling them fallout 3 fanboys in other discord servers after i found out the project lead called new vegas " stale and 3 is more repayable."

Whoever says that F3 is more replayable than NV, is wrong. This is not even my opinion, it is a fact. Like ... this is not obvious?

Because a game that is completely linear in its main quest, with no deviation whatsoever is somehow more replayable than a game that has four main paths in its main quest. While there is some overlap in the four main paths of New Vegas when it comes to specific quests, what you do in a lot of them is entirely up to you, and there are actual tangible consequences for doing those quests in certain ways.

Meanwhile i can poison the water with the FEV in Fallout 3 and literally jack and shit comes out of it in terms of actual consequences. Still have to activate the water purifier regardless.

There's a few things I can remember from the top of my head that FO3 does better than NV. The repair system, including the weapon jamming probability and the ingame's economy.

NV economy is even more broken than the one from FO3 (and the one from FO3 is not even that good either).

Another thing is an engine thing and it's how Obsidian broke the sound system. You can't have environmental/background music in FNV, because the system is broken in NV engine.
NV also uses a lot of blacklists in dialogue, which fucks up the dialogue system and breaks it a lot (including some NPCs in New Vegas that don't say some of their dialogues because of this), this became very evident in TTW when dialogues got all messed up. You should use whitelists and never blacklists. Dialogues should be inclusive and not exclusive for the engine to work properly. FO3 doesn't use blacklists at all.
The Dialogue system in NV is all messed up because of that and other related stuff. That's why some NV vendors have the wrong voice type in some topics.

It also hardcoded some goodbye topics... The dialogue system is one of the biggest headaches the TTW team has, it's pretty impossible to fix, there's like 70000 lines to check and fix, but if you fix some, then it breaks other NPCs because of them being exclusive... It's such a giant mess we had to give up trying to fix it all.

It's really such a clusterfuck that I can't even explain it well. Hell, I don't even understand a lot about what's broken with it, since the problem is so expansive.

It's even worse than that. There's one and only one huge consequence, when NPCs drink three contaminated Aqua Pura consumables, your character dies. :lmao:
This happens because your character was supposed to die if it consumed 3 contaminated Aqua Puras, but Bethesda made a mistake in the script, and instead of checking that the item is being consumed by the character, it checks if the item is consumed by NPCs. :roffle:

You're the one who's wrong. Look, you can replay Vault 101 infinite times! You can pick so many things just in Vault 101, like if you help amata or not and... and... and lots of other stuff!

The Repair system is basically the same. since in new vegas you can repair your weapon with an identical weapon and it will repair as much based on your repair skill, though you can repair infinite amount of times after that. though it's not recommended since your gun condition is only viable at like 85% or something. at 100% you won't see much added improvement to damage. in fallout 3 its basically the samething just without the infinite amount of repair you can do afterwards as it caps at your repair skill or whatever. in new vegas system you can have a low repair skill and just repair infinite amount of times and still end up with 85-100% repaired weapon condition it just takes longer to reach the threshold in-game when you do have a low repair skill.

as for the economy. this is because weapons (particularly) guns cost way more in new vegas then in fallout 3. so it's easier to get to a high amount of caps easily when you are constantly picking up guns off dead npcs etc. I believe you can get to 2000+ caps before even leaving first area of the game(goodsprings, primm, mojave outpost, etc). nipton is a sort of in-between the second area (novac, wolfhorn ranch, ranger station charlie) and the first area, even with low barter skill. this is if you sell everything you find/collect, the grave at Yahztee memorial, the weapons found in the goodsprings cave, etc.

As pointed above, don't you need to invest into repair skill in New Vegas to fix weapons with less resources? So there is an incentive to invest into the skill, unlike, say, not needing to invest into Speech in Fallout 3 to pass speech checks. Plus New Vegas has Jury Riggin, which pops up at skill 90, and it's one of the best perks in the game. So, that's a major incentive to invest into repair.

Basically what i'm saying is that i never got the criticism to repair in New Vegas and the claim that Fallout 3's repair system is any better.

And about economy, i honestly never played a game where you can't bust open the economy with easy exploits. Yeah, Fallout 3's might be better, but that's a participation award because it's also broken.

Yeah, but on the other end Fallout 3 is still a crash prone, buggy piece of crap that basically requires unoffical patches to fix most of its issues. I just installed New Vegas the other day, played for a while and didn't crash once and found no bugs. Meanwhile i'm reading people's posts from this very year complaining how a pain in the dick it is to just make Fallout 3 work on Windows 10.

And before people say my laptop is special, all three of my laptops, with huge gaps in specs, ran New Vegas with no issues whatsoever. And i still remember crashing like crazy when i played Fallout 3, and that was in Windows 7.

That is some serious what the fuck.

i might be the only one but fallout 3 never crashes for me (On PC at least) When i was on console (PS3) it would always crash for me both it and new vegas or freeze, etc. , new vegas on the otherhand crashes for more a lot more. though it's rare still. of course i fixed this easily by getting NVAC plugin through nexusmods.

So imo fallout 3 seems pretty stable at its current outdated release.

Am I the only one that thought this mod was kinda good? Calling it lore friendly and stuff was fake news but I played the legion route and thought it was very well done after the very beginning. Good deal of depth to the characters and moral greys.
It's not linear like the very start of the mod and you have a lot of options to handle the quests both in terms of rp and what outcome you want, with at least 2 routes for the main story. Companion is really well done too.

Play the NCR path. That is where a lot of the complaints are coming from. It is basically Call of Duty in New Vegas with scenes ripped off from other games and movies.

    Combined with the America companion.

I think the Crusader's writer has a Asian slave fetish.

How can one mod hold so much degeneracy and not have a single person pick up on it and expect people to believe they didn't know.
