Fallout: The Frontier - Released!

I feel defensive about people possibly thinking I think the other two routes were "good". That's how you know it was a wreck.

Actually, Nazo wrote the Legion questline. He was the one who wrote the "progressive" Legion and female legionaries just for the sake of pushing progressive, current year gender politics. He also wrote the Enclave fascist line and the sex lizards. Like all male feminists he is a pervert and a reprobate who consistently needs to inject both his fetishes and politics into his works. This is not the type of guy you want writing the Legion or a lore friendly Fallout mod.

this is the fanbase Bethesda wants. they sterilized the fallout series so much you can't do anything thats higher then pg13 in a fucking m rated game.

Now you are probably wondering how a Black Jew like myself became a Grand Cyclops of the Klu Klux Klan, I can assure you it was through hard work and dedication, sure I have to deal with the occasional attempted murder by one of these peckerwoods every now and then, but I just make an example of them and the higher ups at the end of the day only really care about results. we are in a new era of diversity after all.

This about as bad as Bethesda making BoS in Fallout 3 into paladins of good who start fighting for the wasteland. I know some people like to say it's character development, but the reasoning is so paper thin and weak that makes it terrible.

You can't just throw a faction in any direction you want, it has to make sense with what happened before.

Want to bet? Just you wait. Nazo will probably double down on the woke bullshit in the NCR campaign. He will probably make Kimball and Oliver be a stand in for evil fascist orange man and his administration. Women will take up a majority of high ranking roles especially if they are black, gay, trans or all three, oh, and they of course can do no wrong and are the bestests ever at everything they do. The men will all be portrayed as incompetent meatheads full of toxic masculinity who are either sexists, stupid or steal credit from the strong and competent women. Goddamn are these talentless subhumans easy to predict.

In defense of Fallout 3, the Brotherhood technically didn't change at all. Lyon's chapter went rogue. It's still transparent as to WHY Bethesda did this, but the point remains that it makes sense. It's just that Lyon's chapter is as interesting as a block of wood.

I mean to be fair, Kimball and Oliver being criminally incompetent neo-con stooges is already how they're portrayed in Vegas.
 
I'm from the future and I'm here to tell you how the new NCR route is going to be "A League of their Own" but in Portland and with guns and you get a female sidekick with emotional development problems. It ends with you destroying the patriarchy and paradoxically having a harem.

Again, New Vegas was written by intelligent people who kept their politics in check. One can argue that Kimball and Oliver policies were a mix of the Bush administration and the American government during both the Reconstruction Era and Indian Wars. The writers of New Vegas were smart in that they were subtle. Brevity is the soul of wit after all. This mod was made by degenerate perverts whose writing when it comes to politics have all the subtly of a brick to the face.

Oh yeah I have no doubt the frontier writers would completely axe it to pieces but my point was moreso that the NCR in Vegas really isn't very progressive. Explicitly it's going through its first right wing/corporatist administration and NV itself made some political commentary with NCR in the first place.

But also as you say, as with NCR as a whole its a blended canvas of American history - much like Bitter Springs is both Wounded Knee and My Lai, Kimball is both Bush and Ulysses S. Grant.
