Hello, Hello, Anybody Home? Think NMA, Think! They say War, War Never Changes for a reason. The NCR are shown to be the first Nation State to crawl out of the ashes on American soil so far and up until they ran into Caesar's Legion the only things they have been running into are city states and tribals. Hell the BOS for all their technological might are essentially a group of terrorists. They have limited resources and can hold no ground. the real question is, is the NCR going to be giving checks to the Great Khans in a 100 years? Because you know history has a tendency to repeat itself.
I think the thing is that New Vegas puts the NCR at a very pivotal crossroad point that will determine its future. If you read the game guide the picture it paints of NCR before the Kimball admin is very different to the USA, much more focused on mutualism and supporting eachother.
If the NCR lose at Hoover Dam to an independent Vegas (whether House or Anarchy) we get plenty of indication that they turn away completely from the Kimball administration and everything it represents. The relevant politicians are blamed and the imperialist behaviour is squashed.
Victory at Hoover Dam basically rewards everything they've done and gets them to double down, we're even told they're just taking a breather before they head into Arizona.
I think NCR has a chance at not retreading history, but only if it loses to Vegas.

Quest author Lucas left the team after making only this quest and some minor level design. Quest was playable at that time (you can see an entire playthrough on his channel).
It didn't work for some other team members, so as Lucas wasn't on team anymore it was scrapped.
First part of playthrough, with quest author's comment pinned (it's pretty vague).

There was so much to make fun of with the NCR questline. My favorite was the space station that ripped off both Dead Space and Wolfenstein. The NCR quest was the equivalent of my 3 year old nephew playing with his action figures and making up a story of whatever crap he watched. The other questlines feel like someone's creepy hentai fic or shirty Tumblr fan fic.

If they were smart, genuinely cared about modding and actually wanted to salvage whatever reputation they have they would release the assets as a modders resource. They at least would gain some goodwill if they did. Since these people are Prima Donnas who are high off their own farts they aren't going to. Instead they are going to be just like Side Show Bob and keep stepping on those rakes.
DevilsWish kind of just disappeared from the modding scene. I think he saw the way the wind was blowing and just peace the fuck out. The best thing for him to do is to say nothing.

I love how the only comments they are keeping are ones kissing their asses like telling them that The Frontier is a better sandbox and has a better story than New Vegas. Goddamn do they need to have their egos constantly stroked. To think that these people are adults. They act more like petulant children who can not deal even with a minor criticism. Then again they are Discord mods and Twitter and Reddit users so that does explain a lot.

The Venn diagram of people willing to work on a big mod and people who can take criticism are almost two separate circles.
I noticed that mod authors who write waifu mods really can't take criticism. The mod auther of Vanessa getting fights with people who didn't like her mod in the comment section of Alchestbreach's reviews. Lunnete's author blocking someone for writing a negative review. Willow's mod author states that she is happy with her mod and doesn't want to see negative reviews.
