fan base ought to consider Bethesda's, and the creator of this movie's, intent before declaring it out of line with this franchise's "atmospheric" motives...or at least give a more intelligent argument against them.

Though this probably belongs in its appropriate thread, the point of conjecture over Fallout's fan base being insufferable, to me, seems all too true. I certainly feel sympathy with Bethesda's dev team in having to frequent these forums, as they represent one of the only communal areas for Fallout fans to gather, and seem populated with far too many whiny, hypercritical, puerile, rude, unhelpful have-nots which dwell largely in between the few reasonable, concientious people who actually post here.

That said, I feel, appropriately, that no one here could accurately define what is "Fallouty", whatever that means. Fallout, which is a fantastic series of games, and one that I am an avid fan of, still remains one of an abundant number of post apocalyptic fare, and its "atmosphere" is not altogether tangible, nor original. That said, I think the loyal (perhaps "staunch" would fit better here) fan base ought to consider Bethesda's, and the creator of this movie's, intent before declaring it out of line with this franchise's "atmospheric" motives...or at least give a more intelligent argument against them.

Additionally, I think more than a few here ought to consider that Fallout's fan base is probably much wider than posters on this forum, and after Fallout 3's release, it will no doubt get much wider. No Mutants Allowed does NOT represent the sum of interest in this franchise, or genre. If these arguments have already come up, forgive my repetitiveness.

Take a good look kids, a lesson in Trolling 101. How someone picks an innocent topic and derails it with off topic remarks and a complete imbecility, trying to tie Bethesda and good old Shole, completely out of context, and starts a rant filled with insults, while saying no one could have an opinion about what is fallouty, since the self deluded kid thinks he`s the master of all knowledge.

Oh Lord...I have so many thoughts and feelings running through my head I can hardly contain them!

Well, first...this is awesome pure and simple! The choice of clips and music couldnt fit the them better. Whats really amazing, since it takes quite some work, was that this film was edited to fit the song perfectly and no clips became too long or too short. I would guess it was professionally made! I will never forget how the devastation at the end is punctuated by the words "To love and be loved in return." To the person who made this...there is a PM coming your way...with a message that only a small few I know ever see...

It's not often a person makes something so great and for such a fandom.

Hah. Singularity's post is full of Bullshit, poor observation, failure to see his own hypocrisy, insults and even more blatant trolling. It may seem to be a good argument and have some nice observations, but if you look closer, you'll quickly notice it isn't. I'd completely dissect his post, if it weren't for the fact that I dislike spending time replying to trolls.

That's something we do all to often, seemingly forgetting that trolls (whether as some sort of experiment to prove to themselves how much better they are than the community they're trolling or just the regular kind) want the attention. That's the whole point of trolling, to get people worked up about things.
And tht's just what we do.

Hmm...? We have a few replies to Singularity, a very small minority of the people who have read this topic. Instead of every NMA member adding their individual insults into a dog pile, we have a few people who elaborate on the general feelings concerning the matter. I see that as an intelligent response.

I responded myself, does that mean I am worked up about the matter? Of course not. I simply pointed out the flaws in the facts his argument was based on, and that is about it. Does anyone here think about Singularity after they shut down the browser and go through their day? I sincerely doubt it.

Don't fall for his shallow games.

Even if he does have some nice things to say about me.
